Blessings of Obedience
Those who love the Lord want to please Him, so they choose to follow His leading.

Luke 5:1-5
In John 14:15, Jesus taught His disciples, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” He repeated the connection between love and obedience several times because of its great importance. (See John 14:23; 1 John 5:3; 2 John 1:6.)
Following God’s will amounts to telling Him, “I love You.” Having the correct view of obedience—namely, that it’s an expression of love toward our heavenly Father—enables us to endure any difficulties we face. God pours out His blessings on those who obey Him.
Consider the example of Peter (also known as Simon). Jesus asked for use of his boat to preach to the crowd. Having been up all night without catching any fish, Peter might have given the Lord an excuse—too tired, too discouraged, a lot of cleaning up to do. Instead, he took a step into a life of obedience and blessing. On the surface, lending his vessel to help Jesus didn’t seem important beyond the moment. But God had more in mind than a one-time loan of a boat. He was going to use Peter’s life and make him a fisher of men (Matthew 4:19).
God rewarded Peter with service in His kingdom. He wants to do the same for us. How is the Spirit prompting you, and what is your response?

Psalm 86:1-6🤍🤍🤍

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

Grace is the most important concept taught in the Bible.

Scripture is filled with verses about God’s grace, and even though it is not something we deserve, God is kind to us and wants the best for our lives.

Simply put - grace is the unmerited, unearned love and favor of God.

Discover God’s riches for our lives through the grace he has given us as a free gift.

The greatest gift of all is forgiveness of our sins through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Because of the grace God gives us, we are able to then show grace to others as we seek to follow Jesus.

The Words We Speak
At times gossip may seem harmless, but it has the power to hurt people and cause division.

2 Timothy 2:23-26; 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Gossip is often regarded as a relatively benign practice, especially when compared to “bigger” transgressions like murder or adultery. But in the Bible, God lists gossip alongside these sins (Romans 1:28-31).
Nothing about gossip is harmless. Whether the talk is intentionally cruel or simply some idle musing, the target of the comments can be embarrassed or hurt. Even if the victim never learns of the chitchat going on behind his or her back, gossip still has consequences. The people who spread idle talk to others reveal their inner thinking. In Matthew 12, Jesus says, “For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart” (Matthew 12:34). A poisonous tongue is motivated by things like jealousy, resentment, or pride that resides in the heart. Gossip has the power to hurt feelings, destroy reputations and friendships, and divide churches and families.
We should never participate in bringing such damage into anyone’s life. So when we hear gossip, what should we do? God is the only one we should turn to. Ask Him both to protect those being gossiped about and to convict the gossiper. Then commit to praying for and loving everyone involved (Galatians 6:2).

Heavenly Father,

You bless us as we rest.

Restore us as we sleep.

You care for us as we drift off,

And make our dreaming sweet.

You are the safest place.

You are the God of Grace.

Forgiven, loved and held by You

Is each small seed of faith.

You know our thoughts and feelings.

You see our deep desires.

You understand our weariness,

And catch each tear we cry.

You walk beside us every day.

You are a constant friend.

You stay with us all through the night.

On You, we can depend

In Jesus' name we pray...

Amen

Have a Blessed Night ! 😊
💕🙏💕.

💛 John 15:17 ~ These things I command you, that you love one another.

❤️ 1 Thessalonians 3:12 ~ And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,

💙 1 Peter 4:8 ~ And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
