The Nigerian Student

He gains admission
happy in matriculation🎓🎓🎓
faced with a new mission

Though reading is tedious🙇
he tries to be studious📚📚

He goes to class in happiness,😁😁
the lecturer is absent, and yet the materials
can't be accessed.

Now exam is coming
the lecturer seems to be coming,👞👞
all we see are is "photocopies"🖨🖨
and reading is now funny.

Mama at home is calling,☎
papa is saying study, fellowship is saying Bible-study,⛪⛪
but exam is still calling.

He studies..
really,
he studies

He sees his question paper,😳😳
50 questions laid down,
he begins to think answers.🤔🤔
Only 15 answered,
time is running faster⏲⏲

The lecturer says "pens up",😱😱
all he does is look up and begins to call God.
But he has to lock up
else friends will think he fu**ed up

When they ask him "what's up?
he just tells them "thank God"🙌🙌

Now results are pasted📜📜
people say its casted😞😞
based on say "he fasted"
something tells him he blasted

He went with friends to check the board,👨‍👨‍👦‍👦👨‍👨‍👦‍👦
could not believe what he saw😳😳
He saw his score topping the board
this made him believe there is God.....

The Nigerian student is striving
even when the system is lacking
that's why I'm writing
to say
