THE LORD JESUS AND THE SAMARITAN WOMAN (Jn 4:3-43)
Jesus Christ intentionally passed through Samaria to meet this woman. He knew her case and needed to timely help her move up to the next level of her life. She was a woman broken by her marital circumstances, emotionally pained and searching for a new wave of life, but she was void of any opportunities. That's why she asked this question from her own reality:
"Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?" Jn 4:11-12.
The direct answer to her question should have been, "Yes, I am" (Jn 8:58). See Matt 12:42, 22:41-45). One thing was clear, whereas she knew the Person of Jesus as revealed in the Scripture, she did not know that the Man talking with her was the CHRIST (Jn 4:10, 25-30).
For every new wave of life, there must be a new wave of revelation knowledge through perfect understanding (Jn 8:32). The Lord Jesus was patient, purposeful and persistent to help this woman attain that new understanding or insight that can inspire, motivate and propel her into the new season of her life.
People of God, for every new season, there must be first a new energy and focus that result from a new and timely insight into such season (Gen 13:14-17). A new insight marks the beginning of a new season in every man's life. For the Samaritan woman, she moved into the new season of an APOSTOLIC OUTREACH that she began from her own city (Jn 4:39-43).
I pray for God's visitation in your life that would orchestrate the new insight for a new season in your life in Jesus' Name!
