Teenagers globally have become increasingly vulnerable to a society they didn’t create and while we try to encourage and challenge them to become a better version of themselves, they’re still very conscious of an environment which they are in that’s not enabling enough for them to thrive.
Have you considered the high level of misinformation they’re exposed to, the lack of opportunities, the ever increasing vices, the instability in the global economy, the decline in the academic, healthcare and judicial sector or even the high level of insecurities? You wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.
The Nigerian Teens’ Conference would not only give them an opportunity to ask questions but also an opportunity to proffer solutions if they have any. Our intention is to have our teenagers challenged to see their sphere as an opportunity to make a difference regardless of the odds that are for and against them.
