TEXT: HEBREWS 4:1-16

MEM VERSE: HEBREWS 4:14-16

" Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need'.

When we come boldly to the throne of Grace , we obtain Mercy , and find Grace to help in times of need.

Mercy and Grace are the two most vital requirements we need from God Almighty to be able to walk with God blamelessly.

Mercy is defined as compassion and forgiveness shown towards someone, whom you it is within one's power to punish.

We all have erred and gone astray before God and it is in God's power to punish us , however God decided to show us Mercy , blotting out the handwriting of ordinances concerning us.

Every believer needs Mercy to ascend the Holies of Holies , to come into the presence of God for cleansing and empowerment.

Grace is divine ability at Work in a yielded human vessel.

We need both of these , first to be forgiven our sins and secondly to be empowered for the assignment of God upon our lives.

Both are in God's presence, therefore we must come boldly to OBTAIN Mercy and find GRACE to help us in time of need .

PRAYER : I receive Grace and obtain Mercy in Christ, in Jesus mighty name Amen.
