LAYING OF HANDS

Bishop David Oyedepo laid his hands on the heads of many preachers around the world but there are not many 50k auditoriums around the world and there are not many jets parked at airports.

Apostle Paul laid hands on Timothy along with an apostolic presbytery and Paul puts it this way “The gift you received when I laid hands on you”

Timothy never received Paul’s ability to write, Timothy never received Paul’s ability to move from city to city.

Leaders can only activate what God designated for you before the foundations of the earth, they cant give you what God gave them.

Find out what your calling is and make it work by developing the disciplines for that assignment.

Stop hating your assignment so much and obsessing with reproducing what someone already produced.

DIVINE INTERVENTION PT.1

I kings 17.14
New Living Translation
For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!

There are two realms of God's divine intervention
They are :
The one on one / personal intervention
The general intervention

The personal intervention happens when God singles you out to bless you even before it's time for the general blessing upon the land or upon the people in a gathering or a place .
Let's look at the People at the pool of Bethesda.
(John 5) There was always a time of divine intervention that comes once in a year and whoever happens to get into the pool first will be healed. This is a general intervention of God ...But the man who Jesus healed experienced the one on one / personal intervention of God ....He got healed even before it was time for the general intervention of God....This was because he came in contact with Jesus, he got his healing because he had faith and believed that a contact with Jesus can turn his life around...
And that's a major key to experiencing the personal intervention of God in your life you have to strive to make contact with Jesus.... By staying in the place of prayer, sowing seeds and studying his word....
Talking about sowing seeds the woman here in the book of 1 kings 17.14 was able to experience God's personal intervention upon her life by giving to the prophet...
That was how she unlocked abundance even when there was still famine in the land ...
If we remember, every other person was still experiencing famine but she had experienced the one on one intervention of God upon her life even before the prophet unlocked the heavens for rain to fall...
The unlocking of the heavens for rain to fall could be regarded to as the general intervention of God.
It's perhaps the breakthrough everyone has been praying for...
But the personal intervention keeps you a step further...

When others are saying there is a casting down you'll smile and say there's a lifting up when you're experiencing God's divine intervention in your life.

Finally, let's talk about the woman with the issue of blood
She had to touch the hem of Jesus's garment and we know the rest of the story...
This is another one on one contact with God...Jesus was on his way to the house of a man named Jairus...He wasn't preaching or ministering healing to the general crowd...but this woman had gotten what she wanted because of God's one on one intervention in her matter...
There's something she and the man at the pool of Bethesda had in common...
They both believed that a touch from God could turn their lives around and were intentional about reaching out to God.... That's a major key to experiencing God's personal intervention...
