COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS AMOUNTS TO FOOLISHNESS.

2 COR. 10:12

Beloved, hear this truth:

The moment you begin to measure your life by another person's progress, you surrender your peace. Comparison is a silent thief-It steals joy, weakens faith, and distracts destiny.

God didn't call you to run someone else's race.He gave you your own lane.your own timing, and your own assignment.Your eyes must focus on your own calling and not another man's journey.

Comparison breeds frustration because you are judging a process you did not start and a grace you did not receive.

However, Peace comes when you trust that the same God who is working in others is also working in you, according to His perfect will.

Stop competing. Start trusting.

Stop comparing . Start becoming.

When you focus on God's purpose for your life, peace will return, joy will be restored and destiny will unfold right on time.

Remove EYE,

Focus!

BE LED , NOT DRIVEN
Romans 8:14
Beloved , not every open door is a divine door. Not every opportunity that presents itself carries God's approval.

We live in a generation that celebrates movement over meaning, speed over substance, and ambition over alignment. But the Spirit of God does not drive His people in panic- He leads them in peace

The bible says , "As many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God."It does not say as many as are pushed, pressured, or provoked.

Some opportunities come to test your obedience.
Some doors are open to examine your discernment.
And some chances appear attractive, not because they are right, but because they are loud.

When you are driven, you grab everything.
When you are led, you choose wisely.

Being led means you can say no without fear of missing out.
Being led means you trust that what is truly yours will not pass you by.

Many have stepped into good things too early and lost great things later.
Timing is not a suggestion in God's plan- It is a requirement.
Child of God , slow down.
Listen again.
Check the alignment

If God is not in it, speed will not make you succeed.
If God is leading you, even delays will work for your good.

So I will charge you today;
Do not be driven by pressure.
Do not be driven by comparison
Do not be driven by fear.

Not every opportunity is your assignment, and not every door is your calling

BE LED

LEADERSHIP, NOT ALWAYS FOUND IN TITLES
(SADIO MANE- 2026 AFCON FINALS)

During a tense AFCON 2026 final encounter between Morroco and Senegal, a controversial penalty decision was awarded in favour of the Moroccan team.In protest, the Senegalese coach instructed his players to walk off the pitch, resulting in a moment of uncertainty and heightened emotions.

Amid this confusion , Sadio Mane distinguished himself through his actions. While most of his team mates left the field, he remained behind with few others, demonstrating calmness and restraint.Recognizing the importance of sportmanship, responsibility and the bigger picture beyond the moment.Mane later went into the dressing room to appeal to his teammates to return to the pitch and resume the match.

Notably, Sadio Mane was not wearing the captain armband at the time.Yet, his conduct reflected true leadership - one rooted in character, influence and courage rather than official designation.By choosing dialogue over protest and unity over division, he helped restore order and uphold the integrity of the game.

This incident serves as a powerful reminder that leadership is not always defined by titles or positions. True leadership emerges in moments of crisis, when individuals rise above personal interests to act for the collective good.

SOMETIMES, PURPOSE IS DISCOVERED THROUGH OBEDIENCE.

When I woke up this morning, the Lord reminded me of an encounter I had a few years back and I felt the need to share it.

Some time ago in Nigeria, my pastor, Pst. OLUMIDE Olajide Anthony and I were led to visit a brother in our church who had just undergone surgery in the hospital

"I was sick and you visited me"- Matthew 25:36.

As we approached the entrance of the medical facility, we noticed a distressed couple carrying a baby. They had just been referred to the UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT TEACHING HOSPITAL(UPTH).The parents looked confused and deeply worried -the baby's condition was unstable. It was already late into the night, and UPTH was quite a distance away.

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair."- 2 Corinthians 4:8

Without hesitation, my pastor gave up his car- a LEXUS 460- and instructed his driver to rush the family and the baby to UPTH immediately.

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due , when it is in your power to act."- Proverbs 3:27

After visiting the brother who had undergone surgery, my pastor and I trekked back to the church, a journey that covered quite a long distance.

"So let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."- Galatians 6:9.

By God's grace, the baby's life was saved, and the faith of the couple was strengthened.

For my Pastor and me , the joy we felt was overwhelming. We were grateful to have been used as vessels of God.

" But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all- surpassing power is from God and not from us."- 2 Corinthians 4:7

It later became clear to us that the real reason God sent us to the hospital that night was not only to visit the brother, but to be timely help to that couple and their child.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him."-Romans 8:28

Ironically, after all the medical expenses were paid and the brother recovered, he stopped coming to church.

Where He leads, we follow!

Tony Ibeh.
