COMBINED WORSHIP AND COMMUNION SERVICE - 18TH JANUARY, 2025

To culminate the worldwide Ten Days of Prayer series, the City Centre District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church gathered at its headquarters for a combined worship and Holy Communion service.

With shouts of joy, warmth, and gladness, the church welcomed three new members into fellowship through baptism, a joyful outcome of the Ten Days of Prayers series. Indeed, there was rejoicing in heaven over this acceptance of faith. God bless your new beginnings.

From the testimonies of giving, God's people in the large congregation pledged support to the City Centre District's two-week Mega City Evangelism scheduled to hold from March 23rd to April 5th, 2025, at the Ken Saro-Wiwa Stadium, Elekahia.
This session concluded with an offertory prayer by Pr. Obarido T. Okochi who prayed for God to bless and establish means for his children to support His mission, emphasizing that as they give into God's business, He will surprise them.

Matthew 5:13-16 "Let your light so shine before men..." We need to demonstrate that we are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church by touching lives. When we pray, God will hear our prayers and heal us from our distress.
God expects us to make a difference in our society, to be the light that guides others, and to share His goodness with everyone, including at our workplaces. When we pray, God will hear us and be gracious to us in our time of need. Admonition from Pr. Okechukwu Onwuka
