In February, 2002, the Lord showed His Servant, Pastor John Larayetan a revelation concerning his call into full time ministry. He started praying about it until June 2003 when God told his servant It is a response to “Just Obey me” as in Isaiah 1:19 “I
f ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”. This is the birth of Opendoors Christian Centre which began in his parlour in June 2003 before it moved into a make- shift (batcher) precisely on 6th July, 2003 has grown in width and bounds. It has become like a tree sprouting many branches. The Church has impacted many lives through its many programmes and outreaches which include but not limited to the yearly Widows’ outreach where many widows within and outside the state are ministered to spiritually, materially and financially. The Church, in conjunction with American Jamaican Link Charitable Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization, in which Pastor John is a Director, also organize Free Medical Outreaches every December for the people of Rumueme, the host community and also for other locations of the Church. The free medical outreaches have benefited a lot of people. During the outreaches, free consultation, free medicines and even free eye glasses are given to the participants. Now it attracts beneficiaries beyond Rivers state to the neighboring states of Abia etc. In the space of ten (10) years, the Lord has opened so many international doors of relationships for the Church. Just about three (3) months after the inauguration of the Church, 13 American Missionaries who have never been to Africa visited the Church. The leader of the team, Dr G.V. Guns just fell in love with Pastor John and the relationship has linked to other relationships. Prominent among these is the relationship with Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Green of Omni Health Solutions and the President of American Jamaican Link Charitable Foundation, USA. They are part of the church and a family to the Pastor and his family. Through this relationship, the Pastor and his wife have visited the U S A to further attest to the strong tie and affinity they enjoy with the Guns and the Greens and other families. The Pastor has been ministering in many places in U.S.A. Kenya is another open door just as in the Gambia and Uganda also. MEETING DAYS

An in-depth study of the word of God. Here, time is taken to carefully divide, teach and explain the basic truths of the Kingdom and other expositions that will do you good in your Christian life and walk here on earth. Questions are also answered in these Services. FRIDAY:
TURNING POINT SERVICE - 8:00 am
We are not ignorant of the devil’s devices, so with corporate faith, we uproot all plantings not of God in your life. Your deliverance from all oppression, suppression, obsession and the likes is assured. We overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. OUR VISION
