OUR THANKSGIVING / REDEDICATION SERVICE WAS AWESOME

TOPIC: THE MYSTERY OF DIVINE REMEMBRANCE

TEXTS: Psalm 106:4, Psalm 102:12-13

INTRODUCTION:
God does not remember us because He forgot us.
He remembers us because our SET TIME has come.
When God remembers a man, his story changes, captivity turns to testimony.
Divine remembrance is not God trying to recall, it is God deciding to act on your behalf.

HIGHLIGHTS ON DIVINE REMEMBRANCE:

1. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE CONFIRMS DIVINE SET TIME - Psalm 102:12-13
- When God remembers you, it is proof that your appointed time has come.
For Zion, her set time to be favoured came when God arose to remember her.
Your set time has come!

2. GOD REMEMBERS TO VISIT AND TO FULFIL HIS PROMISES - Genesis 21:1, Exodus 2:24
- God remembered Sarah and visited her. God remembered Israel in Egypt and fulfilled His covenant with Abraham. When God remembers you, He will come to you and make good His promises over your life.

3. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE PROVOKES UNCOMMON FAVOUR - Psalm 106:4
The Psalmist cried, "Remember me with the favour you show your people."
Remembrance brings favour that singles you out.
When God remembers you, you enjoy favour that you did not qualify for.

4. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE PROVOKES RESTORATION - Job 42:9-10
- The Lord turned the captivity of Job when He remembered him. What the enemy took from you, your health, your joy, your opportunities.
Divine remembrance restores them in double folds.

This season, may the lord trigger your matter in the heart of kings and men of influence to remember you and favour you.
