A parent with indisciplined children can be said to be childless, it would have been better they had no child than having thiefs, arm robbers, kidnappers, etc as children.

Ways we can fast
1.Jesus fasted (without food) matt 4:1-2

2.Daniel's fasting (staying away from choice food) Dan.10:3

Why fasting
1.it is a way of building the child's spiritual life
2.it is a way of bringing up the child in discipline.

*Children fasting should not be forced rather it should be encouraged.*

*A family with little or no love (King David 1 kings 1:1-2) (2 sam 13 :10-14 David’s son Amnon r***d his step sister)
*Family with partial or imbalance Love (Sampson and Deliah Judges 16:17-20)
Love for your spouse should not depend on what you get from him or her.
Love your spouse just as you expect him or her to love you
*Dangerous Love family (Adam and Eve, Ananias and Sapphire, Ahab and Jezebel)-
This set of families love themselves but do not love God
"Every family love that is built on the fear of God last forever"
“where God is not first in Love, that love do not last”
The perfect or cooperate Family (Joseph and Mary, Zachariah and Elizabeth luke 5:1-6)

SEVEN THINGS FASTING WITH PRAYER DOES FOR US
Fasting and prayer can do more than seven things but below are only seven of them;
1. Fasting and prayer helps us to remain spiritual focused (1Cor. 7:5, Lev. 16:29 Amp).

2. It helps us to humble ourselves before God (Lev. 16:13; Joel 2:12).

3. It helps us to discipline our bodies (1Cor. 9:27 NLT).

4. It helps you to overcome extra-ordinary challenges (Ezra 8:21-23) There are some problems that cannot receive solutions unless through fasting with prayer (Matt. 17:20-21).

5. It helps us to overcome temptations (Mathew 4:1-11)

6. It declouds us with the Aura of God (Ex 34:27;2cor 3:18) When we spend time with God through fasting with prayer, we radiate His Glory.

7. It is meant for open heaven (Acts 13:3; Acts 10:30-32). (Acts 2:17-18). Every child of God is entitled to receive revelation.
