Topic: *SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM DISCOURAGERS*

Text: 2 Corinthians 6:17

2 Corinthians 6:17
*Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,*

*Message*

To be a Christian and serve God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit in the Church, is to be separated from the world system. Hence Church means cut off from burning or to flee from the wrath to come... Luke 3:7. When Joshua the high priest was resisted or opposed by Satan from performing his divine duty, the LORD, through an angel, rebuked Satan, and addressed Joshua as a brand plucked out of the fire in Zechariah 3:1-2. That was a prophetic foreshadowing of what Jesus was bringing to mankind - which is the Church. If you are a sworn member of the Church, please, know that your eternal destiny is guaranteed if you can separate yourself from worldliness... 1 John 2:15-17.

It is separation that also aids us to receive our miracles. Many Christians do not live by divine provisions today, because they have aligned themselves with people that don't believe in miracles. You can be saved, but without crowns if you don't win souls (1 Thess 2:19), you are not faithful in enduring temptations (James 1:12), if you are not anticipating the second coming of Jesus (2 Tim 4:8). So it is with miracles. You may be saved without experiencing miracles on earth as Lazarus in Luke 16:19-25. Hence, our God's name is I AM THAT I AM. This means, God is whatever we want Him to be for us. So, whoever is not separated from unbelievers, will yoke with them... 2 Cor 6:14.

Beloveth, observe that before Jesus could perform some miracles in some people, he had to separate them from public influences. In Mark 7:32-35, before Jesus could remove the string in the ears and mouth of the deaf and dump, he had to take him aside in verse 33. Even in Mark 8:22-26, before Jesus could make the blind man to see, he had to lead him out of the town in verse 23, before he could make the man to look up to God in verse 25, to have his eyes restored. Child of God, we are unknowingly hindered by our Christless friends from miracles, hence we are requested to separate from them.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. My father, my maker, separate me from every situation that the devil is using to deny me of my miracles in Jesus' name.

2. O Lord, pluck me from every worldly fire that is capable of burning my salvational apparels in Jesus' name.

3. Heavenly father, separate me from every friend that could lure me from believing in your miracles in Jesus' name.

Topic: *NO ONE WILL DIVIDE MY DESTINY*

Text: Genesis 13:9-11

Key Verse:
Genesis 13:10
*And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed S***m and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.*

*Message*

When God called Abraham into his inheritance which was to be his destiny in Gen 12:1-3, he didn't add Lot's inheritance to that of Abraham, yet Lot followed Abraham in verse 4 to share in Abraham's inheritance; thereby dividing his destiny. The most annoying part of destiny dividers is that they always want to have a bigger, better share of another's inheritance or portion. Our text says in Gen 13:10,11 that Lot selected the better part and chose first before Abraham the owner. God forbid. Whoever wants to take any share from my destiny must die this year in Jesus' name. Amen.

People may argue that it was Abraham that asked Lot to choose first. Even at that, courtesy demands that, Lot should have reneged and asked Abraham being the owner and the elder to choose first. But the greed in destiny and inheritance dividers makes them refuse to hear the call of courtesy and conscience. This is what many people are going through today. As soon as they receive their salaries or remuneration, the unseen demonic hands of destiny destroyers will collect the essence of that money spiritually while the owner only receives the chaff. And as soon as the money gets into their hands, problems come calling; if that money is not exhausted, the problems will never end.

But the good news today is that, as soon as Lot shared Abraham's destiny and left, God came down to restore all that Lot took, back to Abraham in Gen 13:14-15. Halleluyah!!!God will restore all that was stolen from you back to you again in Jesus' name... Amen and Amen.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. My Father my Father, come down and restore back to me whatever my enemies have stolen from my destiny like marriage, wealth, money, children, in Jesus' name.

2. Fire of God, reveal and destroy all destiny dividers in my life in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, as Lot was taken captive in Gen 14:14 by the enemies of S***m and Gomorrah, create instant captors for all my destiny dividers and destroyers, that will make them suffer in Jesus' name.

Topic: *WHY GOD WAS CALLED UNKNOWN*

Text: Acts 17:22-28

*For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.*

*Message*

Like Pharaoh, humans have at one time or the other asked, WHO IS THE LORD? But God revealed himself in Athens in a very dramatic way before Paul visited in Acts 17. Some years ago in Athens, there broke out an epidemic plague that almost killed all the Athenians. After sacrificing to their numerous gods without solution, they invited a spiritualist from the island of Cyprus called Epimenides. Epimenides told them that they had offended an UNKNOWN GOD. He proposed to the Athenians that they should starve some sheep for days and release them to the well grown Mars Hill to feed.

Any sheep that refused to eat, even though it was hungry, should be marked, and an altar called (TO THE UNKNOWN GOD), be built where it laid, and that sheep be sacrificed upon that altar. So they did to all the sheep not eating, and the plague stopped. The Athenians then discovered that though they had many gods, there was one they didn't yet know, and they called him THE UNKNOWN GOD.

So, when Paul came to Athens and saw this altar, he proclaimed to the citizens that, the God you offended, is whom I have come to declare unto you... Acts 17:22-23. The UNKNOWN GOD is the Creator of all things, including humans... Acts 17:24,26. He answers man's questions in difficult times. Once you look for him and appease him, you will find peace... 1 Kgs 19:11-12. He finds us even if we try to hide from him... Gen 3:7-10. He controls men and even gods, and not vice versa... 1 Sam 5:1-12. He is willing to overlook man's past sins but requires that all men should come to repentance... Acts 17:30. Men and brethren, shall we submit to the Monarch of the universe, who was THE UNKNOWN GOD in times past; but KNOWN TODAY AS THE GOD OF JESUS CHRIST, and be at peace eternally.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Dear God, now that I have known you, may I find peace in times of trouble in Jesus' name.

2. Ever faithful Creator, create solutions for all the unknown battles raging in my life in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, as we bow in worship and adoration to your supremacy, may our sins of old never spell doom for us in Jesus' name.

Topic: *SERVING GOD AS UNKNOWN 2*

Text: Acts 8:9, 13, 18-19

Key Verse:
Philippians 3:19
*Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.*

*Message*

Paul was right when he said in Philippians 3:19 that, many serve their stomach as God, yet they expect God to bless them. When Simon gave his life to Christ, many people thought he came to serve God, but he actually was there to serve God as one of his deities; he never knew the God he professed to believe in. Hence he offered money to receive God's Spirit from Peter. That's how people serve God as unknown. Because they don't know him, they think whatever they do in his name glorifies him. This is the error which makes one a child of perdition.

Many people serve God as unknown, when they criticize the pastor. In Acts 16:1-3, Korah, Abiram, Dathan and On rebelled critically against Moses and Aaron. They alleged that whatever Moses and Aaron knew about God, that every other Jew knew it too. This is what obtains in our Pentecostal Churches today; where there is no respect for constituted authorities because everyone in the Church speaks in tongues. But the end of Korah, Abiram, Dathan and On, was that, the earth swallowed them for serving God as unknown... Num 16:29-33.

Again, if you lay blame of your wrongs on others, you do not know God, yet you behave as though you are serving him. When Saul disobeyed God on Amalek, he blamed his wrong on the people. Even though the bleating of the sheep and the lowing of the oxen were coming from his palace in 1 Samuel 15:12-15. Also, whoever doesn't take his church's directives on how to be pastored, risks serving God as unknown. This is because if you want to be pastored your own way, you cannot go to the heaven of God. In 2 Sam 15:2-6, the Jews were beguiled to follow Absalom, because he told them what they wanted to hear. They wanted the gods in their minds to be honoured (Judges 21:25). Beloveth, let your fear for God be greater than your fear for the people.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Heavenly father, circumcise the heart of our brethren with love, so that they won't criticise their pastors in Jesus' name.

2. O Lord, I reject whatever pride that would deprive me of respecting people in authority in Jesus' name.

3. Teach us father, to take responsibility for our wrongs, to enable us live a repentant and humble life in Jesus' name.

Topic: *SERVING GOD AS UNKNOWN*

Text: Acts 19:13-16

Acts 19:15
*And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?*

*Message*

Our text from Acts 19, shows that salvation is though not private, but it is personal. If one doesn't have a personal relationship with God, it is impossible for such person to draw from God's wellspring of mercy. The seven sons of Sceva had no relationship with God, because they knew not God. Yet, they wanted to imitate what they saw Paul did, thinking Paul's words were without God's power. But when they were not backed up by heaven, they became the victims that they wanted to deliver; and ran out naked and wounded. That is why Jesus said in John 6:63 that, his words are spirit and life. Same with Paul's words. But those of the seven sons of Sceva lacked spirit and life.

In the days of the plagues in Egypt, Aaron was a godly priest. That was when he was working in the shadow of Moses. But as soon as Moses was out of sight in Exodus 32:1, Aaron proved that he had been serving God as unknown. If not, why would he make a golden calf, called it the gods that brought them from Egypt, built an alter before it, and began to sacrifice to it with worship?... Exodus 32:2-6. This shows that Aaron worshipped God as unknown. So, if you are an associate or assistant pastor who takes undue laws into your hands because the head pastor is absent, you are serving God as unknown.

Another incidence that made Aaron guilty of serving God as unknown, was when himself and his sister, Miriam, attacked Moses in Num 12:1, that he wasn't hearing from God. Else, he wouldn't have married an Ethiopian woman, Zipporah. But unknown to them, Jethro, the father of Zipporah was of the family of Midian, who was the 6th son of Abraham in Genesis 25:1-2. If Aaron knew God well, he would have known that Moses' marriage was approved by God. Beloveth, to do well in the faith, you must know God personally with the conviction that He is ever present.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. O Lord, back me up whenever I use the name of Jesus during challenges in Jesus' name.

2. Heavenly father, may your physical absence never make me to go astray like Aaron to worship graven images in Jesus' name.

3. Precious father, teach me patience before my superiors, to avail me the opportunity of doing the right things at all times in Jesus' name.

Topic: *DO YOU KNOW YOUR GOD?*

Text: Acts 17:22-23

*And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but THE PEOPLE THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG, AND DO EXPLOITS.*

*Message*

From the creation of man till now, men have been looking for some gods instead of looking for their Creator. This is why Daniel 11:32 says, THOSE THAT KNOW THEIR GOD (in the Church), shall be strong and do exploits. It is possible to know a god in the Church, without knowing the Creator. A god could be money, healing, blessings, promotion, etc, which occupy the heart of the worshippers. Whatever occupies a worshipper's heart in the Church, is his or her god. This is why it is possible to know a wrong god as the Almighty God in a deceptive Church.

In our text from Acts 17:22-23, Paul opined that the Athenians were worshipping so many gods. But because of their fear of not having worshipped all gods, decided to erect an altar for whichever god they had not worshipped. Paul therefore declared to them that, that God they erected that altar for is the Almighty God. The Creator of the heaven and the earth. This wasn't true of the Athenians alone, but so many worshippers today are worshipping other gods, yet they think they are worshipping the Creator.

Since many of such worships are directed to the creature instead of the Creator, Romans 1:18, 21-23 therefore passed God's judgement on them. The question for all believers and Christians is that, what are you worshipping? What occupies your mind, and prompts you to go to the Church weekly? Is it how you can get a job, or get married? Or, is your heart occupied by whatever gives children to your marriage becoming your god? You might as well receive these things from carved fourfooted beasts. Beloveth, but if you seek the God of the Church, not for the purpose of material acquisition (Matthew 6:33), you will find the UNKNOWN CREATOR.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Eternal Creator, help me to seek and find you in my spiritual pursuit in Jesus' name.

2. Eternal Creator, erase with the blood of Jesus from my heart, whatever occupies my mind and heart, as the object of my worship different from you, in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, deliver your spiritually blind children from any deceptive place of worship that is a satanic shrine yet unknown to them, in Jesus' name.

Topic: *I MUST BE LOCATED BY GOD*

Text: Luke 3:1-3

*[11]And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.*
*[12]And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.*

*Message*

There is an invitation made by Jesus that many Christians have not taken seriously. He said in Matthew 11:28 that, whoever knows he or she has challenges, crisis, fruitless labour, confusion, depression, etc, should come to him and have them exchanged for his rest. Yet, many believers don't believe Jesus has any rest to give, even though they call themselves believers. In Matthew 3:4, the Bible says even though John the Baptist was Christ's forerunner, he was feeding on locust and wild honey. Yet he trusted and relied on the God that sent him. It was this trust and reliance that made God to locate him in the wilderness as David was also located as shown in our key verses above.

To be located by God, is a dream come true. We that name the name of the Lord, should observe that, God bypassed the emperor Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate, Herod, Annas, Caiaphas, etc, to locate John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness. God refused those in the palaces and those living in GRA, to pick John the Baptist in the wilderness. This is why once you are a Christian, don't look down on yourself. You may be the next on line to be located and picked by God for elevation.

All you need do, is to deal with unbelief, and stand on an unwavering allegiance to God through Jesus Christ; then, there is nothing that will be impossible for you. Imagine John the Baptist who was living in the wilderness hopelessly; as soon as God located him, he relocated to the cities around Jordan. You may be reading this BoLD now as you have always done. But believe you me; today, by God, this edition will change your story. God will locate you today, relocate you to your green pastures, and turn you a new man and woman. As he picked John from the wilderness, he will pick you from your debts, barrenness, joblessness, marriage disappointments, and every miry clay, to His mountain of abundance. Just Trust Him!

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Heavenly father, give your children listening ears and obedient hearts to always heed your call to safety any time you call, in Jesus' name.

2. Ancient of days, bypass all demonic dreams catchers and destiny destroyers to locate me this season in Jesus' name.

3. Blessed Redeemer, by your compassion and grace, pick me from every hopelessness surrounding me, and position me in your vineyards of greatness in Jesus' name.

Topic: *THE GAINFUL DEATH 2*

Text: Revelation 12:11

Key Verse:
Numbers 23:10
*Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!*

*Message*

There is a difference between not being afraid of death and submitting to death when you can avoid it, for the purpose of the Gospel. Our Gospel forerunner, Jesus Christ, submitted to death because it couldn't kill him. Remember he said in John 2:19 that, if his body was destroyed by death, he would raise it up after three days. Hence on the Cross, when death couldn't kill him, he gave up the ghost himself in John 19:30. This is the honourable death that makes one to find himself in God's kingdom. The question is, can we lay down our lives for the brethren according to 1 John 3:16?

To fulfil God's purpose as Christians, we mustn't love our lives more than we love dying (Rev 12:11), for the Gospel to be more rooted in people. Paul would have rather wished to be accursed in Romans 9:3 for the Gospel to grow among the Jews. For Christians to value being alive, it should be because there is an undone Gospel work, meant for that person to fulfil. Every Christian must endeavour to locate their unperformed duty to God, so that they don't die as spiritual debtors... Rom 13:8.

If you live faithfully for Christ, whatever happens to you negatively, furthers the Gospel... Phil 1:12. When Balaam joined Balak to destroy the Jews, he ended up wishing to die like them in Num 23:10. That is, to die the death of the righteous, which is the gainful death propagated by the Church. So many Christians don't know what they are losing by being unfaithful in the Church. You only make those who are faithful to shine brighter. Don't get discouraged by the suffering of pastors and faithful Christians; they are by such, working out their gainful deaths. Beloveth, may you never be a negative force to augment fellow Christians into their gainful death. Try to die gainfully yourself.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Heavenly father, if as Christ is, that is how we are by faith, may we also at death glorify you like Christ's death has drawn the whole world to you in Jesus' name.

2. Precious father, help me to locate and perform every assignment meant for me to execute in the faith while I yet live in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, use every challenge I face from the enemies in my faith, to work out my eventual gainful death in Jesus' name.

Topic: *THE GAINFUL DEATH*

Text: Philippians 1:20-21

Philippians 1:21
*For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.*

*Message*

If not that man is very difficult for God to tame, he would have known by experience, that, all we are living for is death. According to Ecclesiastes 9:10, every human being is actually labouring, in preparation for the grave. It is either man is working hard to leave an inheritance for his children, or acquiring wealth which will debar him from begging for food at old age before he or she dies. So, even though death is death, some deaths are eternal investments, while others are eternal wastes to the dead, the living and God.

According to Philippians 1:21, there is gain in death. This gain is not just because you are going to heaven, but the fact that the life you lived before death, is an investment for others to source their own salvation from. To live that kind of life, you must know while alive, that every moment of your existence, is to fulfill an eternal goal known only to God, but gives you fulfillment while alive. So, you live happily, and also die happily. It is no longer a painful death, but a gainful death.

This is why Paul said in verse twenty of Philippians one, that, as Christians, once our expectation and hope is to magnify Christ in our body, both at death and while alive, then we need not be ashamed of anything; if we have attained that spiritual height. Whether we live well by man's standard and judgement or not, since heaven has approved us, we have no condemnation to worry about... Rom 8:1. Whether we might have married with or without children, there is therefore now no condemnation. Even if we couldn't marry before death, in as much as we lived for Christ, there is gain for us, the earth and heaven after our death. This is living for Christ as a little Christ... Acts 11:26. Beloveth, live a life that will make your death precious to God... Psalms 116:15.

*LET US PRAY:*

1. Dependable Father, tame me with your word, for me to be domesticated in your Church in Jesus' name.

2. O Lord, by my faith in eternity with you, make my death an eternal investment in your kingdom as Jesus' follower in Jesus' name.

3. Dearest Father, may your name always be magnified by my life while alive, and after death in Jesus' name.

Topic: *YOUR WEEPING HAS EXPIRED*

Text: Psalms 30:5

Key Verse:
Psalms 30:5
*For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.*

*Message*

Our God is so merciful that he put expiring dates on all our challenges. Whatever makes us to cry and weep, doesn't last forever. Just like our cooked soups get soured, the drugs on the shelves get expired, so are our burdens and bondages; they have very short life expectancy. Our text from Psalms 30:5 as quoted above, says weeping may endure for a night. By this, we are not expected to see our weeping in the day. Yet many people stretch their weeping across the night, to the following day.

When Jesus said in Matthew 6:34 that, the evil of a particular day is sufficient for that day, he meant that by the succeeding night, that troublesome evil must expire. What then is night? The night is when one doesn't see, either physically or spiritually. Hagar experienced a night in Gen 21:15-18, until God brought her day in verse 19, and her weeping expired. The night that brings weeping, comes when one is afraid of the powers of the enemies. This pushed Gideon into hiding (Judges 6:11); until his day came in Judges 7:24-25, 8:1-28.

But to end the night, so that our weeping will also come to an end, we must wake up Jesus in the night (Matt 8:23-26). That is, in the midst of the sorrow and weeping, we must not allow Jesus to sleep. Hence, Prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 62:6-7 that, if we want our weeping to expire, then we must not give God rest. Take note that because the ministry of the enemy ends in the night, he can only also work in the night. No wonder he could only plant tares in the night according to Matthew 13:25. But we must be vigilant to know when his night is over, so we can both root out and gather the tares for the fire, to give room for our day of harvest, to end our weeping.

1. Dearest Father, thank you for giving very short life span to my worries in Jesus' name.

2. Heavenly father, set up a barricade that would stop my crisis of yesterday from crossing into today in Jesus' name.

3. Eternal King of glory, I command every cry inducing action of the wicked to become his heritage in Jesus' name.
