It is committed to serving the Lord and meeting the spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs of members and the surrounding community. Faith Baptist Church, Port Harcourt (FBCPHC) was established in the year 1964 as the First Baptist Church, Diobu Port Harcourt. It was later renamed Faith Baptist Church, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. FBC is a member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and the associated Rivers Baptist Conference. It has grown up to TEN daughter churches since inception.
