I BELONG

What an intense and exciting topic we delved into last Sunday.

We explored in a very interactive manner the causes, effects, and solutions of cultism in our secondary and tertiary institutions.

We discussed that it was a reflection of the society at large, its corruption & degradation, the poor family structures, and the harsh socio-economic state.

We also said that it was caused by peer pressure, search for recognition and power, broken family background, and a fundamental desire for brotherhood or sisterhood to BELONG.

We understood that in God, in Jesus, we belonged fully. And, we could get all those promises the cult made/offered and even more but not in that devilish way. We concluded that here was no worth jeopardising a bright future for worthless crumbs mimicking real gold.

We ended the service with an altar and rededication call.
