This Thanksgiving and Reception Service tomorrow is not just a celebration; it is a testimony of where it all started and how far the Lord has brought me in this ministerial journey.

There was a time along this path when the road became extremely difficult and discouraging. At that point, a strong temptation came my way. Some of my friends who were doing very well in life driving good cars and living comfortably, offered me an opportunity to leave the ministry and join their company. Considering the hardship my family and I were facing at that time, the offer looked very appealing from a human perspective.

But in the midst of that trying moment, my late wife stood firmly beside me. When it would have been easy for us to give in to the pressure, she encouraged me to remain faithful to the calling of God. She reminded me that the ministry was not a mistake and that abandoning it for material comfort would not be the will of God for our lives.

Together we resisted that temptation, even though we were going through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. That moment became the most challenging and decisive period in my ministry.

Today, my wife is no longer here with me physically, but the courage and faith she demonstrated in that moment remain an eternal testimony in my heart.

Interestingly, the same company that once seemed like the better option has today been liquidated and is no more. But by the grace of God, I am still standing faithfully serving the Lord without doubt, without regret, and without turning back.

This story is a living proof that when a man chooses to accept God first and remain faithful to Him, every other thing shall indeed be added unto him.

From where it all started to where the Lord has brought me today, I stand as the Deputy Territorial Chairman of TACN Maritime Territory. Tomorrow’s Thanksgiving and Reception Service is simply my way of returning all the glory to God who has preserved and established me through every season.

To God alone be all the glory. 🙏🏽

Dear beloved,

I am pleased to inform you that my son, Stephen Michael Abor, has released a book titled When Service Becomes Sin, which is now out for preorder.

This book is a timely and necessary work for our generation. It addresses the issues of busybodiness, eye-service, manipulation, and the need for sincere, God-approved service in the body of Christ. It calls believers back to purity of heart, humility, and obedience in serving God.

I encourage you to not only purchase this book but to read it thoughtfully and prayerfully. The lessons in it are relevant to families, youths, workers, and leaders alike. It is a book that will challenge, correct, and strengthen your walk with God.

I believe this book will be a blessing to you and will help restore sincerity in our service to God.

God bless you as you support and read.

I was privileged to perform my sacred rite as an Apostle during our Communion Service yesterday at the just concluded January to Adore God program.

It was a moment of deep reverence, divine atmosphere, and spiritual encounter as we partook of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Truly, God visited His people, hearts were stirred, lives were refreshed, and faith was strengthened.

All glory, honor, and adoration to God Almighty who continues to reveal His power among us. May the grace released in this season speak continually in our lives, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I want to encourage you wherever God has planted you, be faithful. The journey may not always be easy, but the One who called you is faithful to keep you. When God separates a man, He also equips him. When He sends you, He goes ahead of you.

Let your life preach Christ. Let your walk reflect your confession. In this season, may your faith be strengthened, your vision renewed, and your spirit stirred to serve God with all your heart.

I pray for you today: may the Lord enlarge your coast, renew your strength, and cause His glory to be revealed in your life and household. Remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
