The 3 parts in Mass are:

Introductory Rites
This is the beginning of the Mass where the congregation prepares to worship God.
It includes:
Entrance song
Greeting by the priest
Penitential Act (asking God for forgiveness)
Gloria (a hymn of praise, on certain days)
Opening prayer (Collect)
🙏 Purpose: To prepare the hearts of the people to listen to God's word.
2. Liturgy of the Word
This part focuses on reading and reflecting on the Bible.
It includes:
First Reading (usually from the Old Testament)
Responsorial Psalm
Second Reading (from the New Testament)
Gospel Reading
Homily (sermon or explanation by the priest)
Profession of Faith (Creed)
Prayer of the Faithful
📖 Purpose: To hear and understand God's Word.
3. Liturgy of the Eucharist
This is the most sacred part of the Mass where bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ.
It includes:
Preparation of the gifts (bread and wine)
Eucharistic Prayer
Consecration
The Lord’s Prayer
Holy Communion
Prayer after Communion
