The world is covered with sin and its alienism to God is prospering(dry and thirsty land where there is no water). But since we are not of this world(Mathew 12: 32, Romans 12:3, 1 Corinthians 5:10, 1 John 4:3), we ought to always craved for God, and His second coming(Mathew 9:15, 1 John 2 : 28). We ought to seek His coming, seek to know God more- as our Father.

Your will is backed up by any of these two.
So, always be sensitive and positive to the leading of the Holyspirit.

Else, you might end up pleasing the devil.
