THE GOODNESS OF GOD | Minister: Pastor Henry Ayede | Sunday 23rd August, 2026.

Because you are in Christ, you already stand in a position where God’s goodness is directed towards you,not because you have earned it, but because of who you are in Him.

“In Christ” is a place. It means I belong to Him, I am accepted in Him, I am identified with Him, and I live from what He has accomplished for me.

Your position in Christ determines your access to God’s goodness.

You do not feel your way into goodness; you stand in the position of your in Christ nature and it flows.

God is good and faithful at all times. He is a good God.His disposition is goodness, no variation. God’s basic attitude, posture, and heart towards us are consistently good. He is not good sometimes and bad sometimes. A disposition is a settled leaning, not a mood.

Goodness follows you. Kindness appeared first, not as a reward. There is no variation and no shadow of turning.

God is good. His disposition is goodness. His goodness is consistent. And because I am in Christ, I stand in a position where I can receive and experience His goodness.
