RIVERS PROVINCE 1 JUNIOR CHURCH CHILDREN WEEKEND 2026
Sunday 24th May, 2026

THEME: CHILDREN OF EXCELLENCE

Minister: Bro. Prince Godwin
Topic: OVERCOMING THE ENEMIES OF EXCELLENCE AND WALKING IN GODLY SUCCESS
Text: Psalm 8:2, Daniel 6:1–5

Memory Verse: “Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him.” – Daniel 6:3

Good morning brethren. Good morning mummies and daddies. The aim of today's message is to teach the children that excellence can be hindered by negative attitudes, habits, and behaviours, but those who overcome these enemies and remain faithful to God will enjoy lasting success, influence, and become godly examples to others.

Every child of God is called to live a life of excellence, but there are many things that can hinder spiritual growth, discipline, and success. While Daniel was known for his excellent spirit, his life also teaches us that excellence requires intentional choices and resistance against habits that destroy progress. Laziness, bad company, pride, dishonesty, distraction, and disobedience are major enemies that can prevent a person from fulfilling God’s purpose. Many people desire success, yet fail to address the attitudes and behaviours working against their growth. The Christian life requires vigilance, self-control, and commitment to righteous living. When children learn early to reject destructive habits and embrace godly principles, they position themselves for divine promotion, influence, and lasting impact in society.

Lesson Outline I: Enemies of Excellence
1. Laziness
- A little sleep and folding of hands lead to poverty (Proverbs 6:10–11).
- Laziness destroys opportunities and delays progress.

Bad company
- Evil company corrupts good manners (1 Corinthians 15:33).
- The people we associate with influence our behaviour and decisions.

Distraction and lack of focus
- Looking unto Jesus keeps us focused (Hebrews 12:2).
- Distractions weaken discipline and reduce productivity.

Pride and dishonesty
- Pride goes before destruction (Proverbs 16:18).
- God desires truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6).
- Pride and lies damage character and destroy trust.

Disobedience and bad behaviour
- God wants us to obey, accept correction, and live rightly.
- Disobedience closes doors to blessing and growth.

Lesson Outline II: The Outcome of Excellence
Excellence produces trust and influence
- Daniel was preferred above others because of his excellent spirit (Daniel 6:3).
- A diligent person will stand before kings (Proverbs 22:29).

Excellence produces lasting success
- Good success comes through obedience to God’s Word (Joshua 1:8).
- God promotes the faithful (Psalm 75:6–7).

3. Excellence glorifies God
- We should let our light shine before men (Matthew 5:16).
- Our lives should reflect Christ everywhere.

4. Excellence makes us good examples
- Timothy became an example despite his youth (1 Timothy 4:12).
- God wants our lives to positively influence others.

Conclusion:
Excellence is a product of intentional living, godly discipline, and consistent obedience to God. Although many obstacles such as laziness, pride, distraction, bad company, and disobedience can hinder progress, believers are empowered by God to overcome these enemies and pursue a higher standard of living. Daniel’s life demonstrates that true excellence attracts trust, influence, promotion, and divine favour. More importantly, excellence is not pursued merely for personal success, but to glorify God and become a positive example to others. When children choose right habits, maintain godly character, and remain faithful to God, they become vessels through which God’s greatness is revealed.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, help me to overcome every enemy of excellence such as laziness, pride, distraction, and bad company in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, give me the grace to develop discipline, obedience, truthfulness, and diligence in all I do.
3. Father, let my life reflect excellence, bring glory to Your name, and make me a positive example to others.

DOUBLE-PACKED SERVICE

24th Annual Elders' Congress 2026

Minister: Dcn. Henry Woke
Topic: FULFILLMENT OF HIS PROMISES
Text: Genesis 18:13-14, 21:1-2

I want to congratulate you all for witnessing another Elders' Congress. The Bible tells us in Lamentations 3:23 that "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not." If the coming back of our Lord tarries, you will witness another Congress next year, in good health and with sound mind, in Jesus name.

The Fulfillment of God's Promises is guaranteed by His faithfulness. In Joshua 21:45 says not one of His words fails. These promises are fulfilled in God's Perfect timing.

God is not slack or forgetful of His words. He actively watches over it to Perform it Jer 1:12.

In Genesis 18:1-7, Abraham had a divine visitation. He entertained three men that came to his tent - without knowing who they were. The Word of God admonishes us in Hebrews 13:2 - "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unknowingly, entertained angels." I pray that you will not miss your day of divine visitation, in Jesus name.

On their way out, the men told Abraham that Sarah would have a son according to the time of life. Sarah heard this, and laughed. Why did she laugh?

Genesis 18:11
Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Sarah laughed within herself, but God heard. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12 - "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." It is impossible to hide anything from God. He is omniscient – an all-knowing God, who sees and understands all.

God responded by asking Abraham: "Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son (Genesis 18:14).

What a beautiful promise! The fulfilment of God's promise is recorded in Genesis 21:1: "And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken."

God is faithful to fulfil His promises. There are so many examples in the Bible. Genesis 50:25 - "And Joseph took an oath of the children of Isreal, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence." Joseph left instructions for the Israelites because he knew God would fulfil his promise to give the Israelites the promised land.

That promise was fulfilled over 400 years later: "And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn to the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you."(Exodus 13:19).

After a lifetime of walking with God, Joshua testified boldly about God's faithfulness. In his farewell address before his death, Joshua said, "And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof." (Joshua 23:14). God is reliable. God is trustworthy. God is dependable. God is faithful to fulfil His promises.

In Psalm 37:25 David said, "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." You will not beg bread in old age, in Jesus name.

As Elders, many of you can testify that God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), whatever He promises, He will fulfil. "For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us." (2 Corinthians 1:20).

In conclusion, what key lessons can we take away from the discussions above?
1. That it shall be well with you. - Isaiah 3:10
2. Your healing is assured. - Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24
3. Your provision is guaranteed. - Psalm 23:1, Psalm 34:10
4. Your protection and deliverance are part of God's promises. - Isaiah 49:25, Psalm 91:10
5. The partnership God promises extends beyond this life. - John 14:2

Once again, I rejoice with all of you. God is faithful. Deuteronomy 7:9 declares "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations."

We serve a covenant keeping God. A covenant involves more than one party. Are you ready to play your part?

Isaiah 1:19 - "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." If you fulfill your part of the agreement, you can be sure that the faithful God will honour His own part.

Youth Super Sunday

Minister: Mummy Chisom Chibuzo
Topic: FROM TOILING TO TAKING: ENTERING GREATER HARVEST
Text: Luke 5:4–7, Ecclesiastes 10:10

You can be busy… and not fruitful; active… and not effective, committed… and still not increasing.

Peter laboured all night… Lk. 5:5 — “We have toiled all night, and have taken nothing…” Effort was present. Commitment was present, but the results were absent. Then one instruction came: “Launch out into the deep…” Same man. Same boat. Same sea. But a different result.

1. GREATER HARVESTS ARE LOCATED IN THE DEEP
The next move may not be greater efforts in what you have been doing or where you have been going before. You may have to launch into the deep. You have to stretch your net further – not just your street alone.

You may have started and concentrated in your ‘Jerusalem,’ and it is now time to move to your ‘Judaea’ or even unto ‘Samaria’ or perhaps to start planting Churches in the uttermost (villages and abroad...) Acts 1:8

You have to listen to the Holy Spirit – the Director of Operations.
• Launch out into the deep. Lk. 5:4
• “Arise, and go toward the south…” Acts 8:26 Philip did not just go everywhere…
He was sent somewhere and thus met a prepared soul.

There are people around you; there are locations looking for people to come to them to talk with them, to plant a church – they may be further away from your usual catchment areas.

2. GREATER HARVEST IS STRATEGIC, NOT ACCIDENTAL
Greater harvest is not just harder work —it is wiser work. Ecc. 10:10 “If the iron be blunt… he must put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”

Many are increasing their efforts…
But not increasing results. Because direction is missing.
• You need divine intelligence. Psa. 37:23
• You need wisdom. Prov. 4:7
• You need re-strategizing - even as individuals, groups, and as a church. Ecc. 10:10

3. STRATEGIES THAT PRODUCE GREATER HARVEST
i. Targeted Harvest Strategy Jn. 4:35
— “Lift up your eyes…” See – the streets, the markets, the workplaces - Identify harvest zones.

ii. Consistent Systematic Engagement Acts 2:46
— “Daily… from house to house.” Not occasional outreach… Daily engagement

iii. Explosive Growth Drive Follow-Up System Acts 2:42
— “They continued steadfastly…”
Assign people to:
• Track
• Call; and Visit

iv. Corporate Mobilization Psa. 68:11 — “Great was the company…”
Everyone becomes a labourer.

v. Compulsive Invitation Lk. 14:23 — “Compel them to come…
Not a casual invitation… Intentional pursuit.

CONCLUSION
From toiling to taking is not a promise—it is a transition. Peter toiled—but remained empty.

Until he:
• Heard the instruction
• Obeyed the direction
• Adjusted his strategy
• Engaged the deep

And suddenly, what he could not get all night came in one moment.

That means:
• Your struggle is not your destiny
• Your emptiness is not your end
• Your season can change —if you align with God.

EXPLOSIVE GROWTH DRIVE

Sunday 10th May, 2026

Minister: Pastor Stella K. Epegu
Topic: THY LATTER HARVEST SHOULD GREATLY INCREASE
Text: Job 8:7

INTRODUCTION
There is a pattern with God… God never ends where He started.
For example:
• He took Abraham from one son → to nations (Gen. 17:5)
• He took Israel from a family → to a multitude (Exo. 1:7)
• He took the early church from 120 → to thousands in days (Acts 2:41, Acts 4:4)

You must not end where you started from even where you have reached now. You must realize the following:

1. GOD’S AGENDA IS ALWAYS – ‘GREATER STILL’
• Job 8:7 – “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”
• Hag. 2:9 — “The glory of this latter house shall be greater…”

God is not interested in repeating yesterday.
God is committed to: Greater glory; Greater impact; Greater harvest Jn. 15:2 — “Every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth MORE fruit.”

Not fruit… MORE fruit Everything about God is ‘more,’ ‘greater,’ ‘brighter.’ Pro 4:18 — “The path of the just is as a shining light, that shineth more and more…” Not ‘same and same’… but ’ More and more.’

God did not call you to maintain a church.
God called you to multiply a harvest. If your results are not increasing, you are not aligned with God’s current agenda.

2. WHY HARVEST STOPS GROWING
i. Satisfaction With Past Results. Amos 6:1 Rev. 3:2 — they were boasting/living on their past name while things were dying around them.
Many churches/Christians are living on:
Old testimonies;
Past growth;
Former moves of God.
Their drive, which used to be alive… is now fading.

ii. Loss Of Burden For Souls Matt. 9:36 — “He was moved with compassion…”
Compassion is the fuel of harvest. When compassion dies:
• Evangelism becomes optional • Outreach becomes irregular

ii. Shift From Mission To Maintenance
Lk 19:10 — “The Son of man is come to seek and to save…”
When a church stops seeking… it stops growing.

3. EXAMINE YOURSELF. Rev. 3:2
• Do you even have any soul you can call harvest?
• Do you even have any increase you can call a harvest of the past year or since the last EGD?
• Is your harvest growing – according to God’s agenda?
• Have you become satisfied with the past results – living on your past name/accolade?
• Have you turned your back on your mission and become a maintenance officer?
• Have you stopped working to see your Church and your life becoming more glorious? Don’t you know that:

o It is God’s desire/plan for you to continue to grow in glory. For Your Church to increase in glory – all shame gone. Hag. 2:9
o However, you can only ask to be glorified when you glorify God. Jn. 17:4,5
o Only when you have testimony of GREATER HARVEST is God glorified. Jn. 15:8

4. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
1. Repent and think of how far you have fallen behind or stagnated.
2. Isa. 54:2–4 “Enlarge… stretch… lengthen… strengthen…” Enlarge your vision – like Abraham, come out of your tent, lift up your eyes and look.....
3. Stretch your capacity. Phi. 4:13
4. Lengthen your reach. Cast your net even further - into the deep. Lk. 5. 5. Strengthen your systems. 1 Cor. 14:40

You cannot carry greater harvest with old structures.

Do all these and:
1. thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left. Isa. 54:3
2. your converts and church members will take over the Gentiles (unbelievers). Isa. 54:3
3. shame shall be driven from you and your parish and replaced with glory, and thus the latter glory shall greatly increase. Isa. 54:4

Job 8:7 — “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”
It is in your hand – you want your glory to be greater then; “THY LATTER HARVEST SHOULD GREATLY INCREASE.

ALTAR CALL
If you are here and you are not saved, then you are part of this harvest. Come to Jesus now.

REDEDICATION CALL
If your fire has gone down, come to Jesus – He is the one that maketh His ministers – children flame of fire, He did it for Peter, He can do it for you.

Cry to Him - “Lord, restore my passion! Restore my fire! Restore my burden for souls!”

PRAYERS
1. Father, align my life and ministry with Your agenda of ‘greater still’—deliver me from stagnation, and position me for continuous increase in harvest in Jesus Name.
2. Lord, restore my compassion for souls—let my heart burn again for the lost, and remove every coldness, distraction, and indifference.
3. Father, deliver me from satisfaction with past results—break every spirit of complacency, and provoke me into greater harvest.
4. Lord, enlarge my vision, stretch my capacity, and strengthen my systems—make me ready for multiplying harvest.
5. Father, let my latter harvest greatly increase—cause multiplication of souls, rapid growth, and territorial expansion in my life and church.

May 2026 Thanksgiving Service

Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye
Topic: Created For Great Impact
Text: Jeremiah 1:4-5

God had already ordained everything about your life from the very beginning of the world.
Just like in our text, He already knew us and planned for us before we were born.

As God has a plan for your life, you have a part to play in that perfect plan of His. (Eccl 3:1-8)

There is also a set time for you to play that part. (Psalm 102:13)

In Luke 2:42-52, we see that even Jesus had a set time before he could begin his ministry.

The same God who wrote the plans of your life ahead of time, also reserves the right to make changes to it.

In Luke 22:31-32, we see that Jesus intervened in prayers for Peter to alter the plan of the devil to use.

🗣️May you never do what will make God hand you over to the devil.

In 2kings 5:1-19 , a little girl was captured by the army of Syria and taken to serve in the house of Naaman.
While there she connected Naaman to his healing, and through that healing the gospel spread to Syria.
That was the greater impact she was created to fulfill.

Mark 5:2-19 tells the story of a dangerously mad man. God healed him, changed his story, and rerouted his life to give glory to God.

So also is the story of a man who was once notorious criminal, he received a tract that changed his life. Today he’s a devoted elder in the RCCG.

You have been created for great impact, but you can only achieve that greatness in Christ.
Choose today, to stay in Christ, he alone can secure your future.

Prayer Points:
1. God show me the purpose for which you created me.
2. Father, please let me fulfill your purpose.
3. Lord if I’m about to go wrong, please pray for me (like you prayed for Peter).
4. Father help me fulfill my destiny.

BREAKTHROUGH SERVICE

Minister: Pastor Stella Epegu
Topic: WHEN A MAN'S WAYS PLEASE GOD
Text: Proverbs 16:5–7

There was a boy named Chukwuemeka, a bright student in a very reputable school. While preparing to sit for a national exam, he studied hard and qualified for the same exam others paid money to pass. Some of the other students began pressuring him to pay so he would succeed, but he remembered the teachings from his parents and his Sunday School classes and refused.

On the day of the exam, he saw the questions and realized they were tough. So he prayed and wrote the exam on his own, based on what he had studied, while many others were caught cheating. Later, one of his mates asked how he managed to succeed. He replied that it was by God's grace and the honesty he had learned long ago.

Chukwuemeka’s story shows us that when a man’s ways please God, he will succeed—it is only a matter of time.

What does it mean to please God?
Biblically, it means living in a way that is aligned with God’s character, His will, and His instructions. It is not just about trying to earn His approval, but responding to Him with faith, obedience, and love.

Proverbs 16:5–7 says:
“Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged, and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Are your ways pleasing to God?

In a world where people are striving for success, recognition, and approval, very few stop to ask: Am I living a life that truly pleases God?

Many of us measure our lives by achievements, wealth, and influence. In our hearts, we say, “I have achieved all these because my life pleases God,” but God measures differently. He looks at our character, our obedience, and our reverence for Him.

The Bible gives us a powerful promise in the passage we read: that sin can be cleansed through mercy and truth, and that a life pleasing to God brings peace—even with one’s enemies.

This means that when we align our lives with God, He does what we cannot do for ourselves.

1. Mercy and Truth: The Foundation of a God-Pleasing Life (Verse 6a)
Mercy speaks of love, compassion, and forgiveness, while truth speaks of righteousness, integrity, and obedience. To please God, we must live in both—not one without the other.

Mercy without truth leads to compromise. Truth without mercy leads to harshness. When these two work together, they bring transformation.

My brethren, a life that pleases God is marked by both love and righteousness.

2. The Fear of the Lord Produces a Changed Life (Verse 6b)
The fear of the Lord is not terror, but reverence, honor, and deep respect for God. When you truly fear God, sin loses its attraction. You do not avoid evil because of people; you turn away from evil because of the seed of God within you.

Galatians 5:22–24:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Pleasing God begins when you value His opinion above all others.

3. When Your Ways Please God, He Gives You Peace (Verse 7)
This passage is a powerful promise from God to us. It means that God steps into your battles when your ways please Him. He changes hearts you cannot change. He brings peace where there was conflict. The best part is that you will not have to fight every battle—God is more than able to settle matters for you.

Men Who Pleased God

1. Noah
He lived in a corrupt generation but remained righteous. He walked with God when others rebelled, but because his ways pleased God, he found favor and was preserved.

2. Joseph (Genesis 37)
He was betrayed by his own brothers and sold into slavery, yet his faith in God remained intact. He chose integrity over sin, and in the end, God turned his enemies and circumstances into great blessings that amazed his household.

3. Daniel (Daniel 6:10)
A law was signed forbidding prayer to anyone except King Darius for 30 days, but Daniel continued to pray three times a day, just as he always had—openly and consistently. He refused to compromise his devotion to God, and God gave him favor with kings and shut the mouths of lions.

4. David (Psalm 51:1–3)
David was not a perfect man and had his faults, but he was quick to repent. He loved God deeply and walked in reverence. Even when pursued by enemies, God preserved him and gave him victory.

The message of Proverbs 16:6–7 is clear:
Live with mercy and truth. Walk in the fear of the Lord. Align your ways with God—and when you do, your sins are cleansed, your life is transformed, and your battles are handled by God.

Let us ask ourselves these questions today:
Am I walking in mercy and truth?
Do my choices reflect the fear of the Lord?
Are my ways truly pleasing to God?

Because when your ways please God…
He will give you peace that no one can take away.

Rise to your feet and declare:

Say, Father, from today I receive grace to live a life that pleases You—in my thoughts, words, and actions.

Oh Lord, by Your mercy, cleanse me from every sin that displeases You. Let the blood of Jesus purge every hidden fault in my life.

Say, Father, as I commit my ways to You, direct my steps and order my path. Lead me away from wrong decisions and into Your perfect will.

Holy Spirit, make me sensitive to Your instructions and corrections. Deliver me from every pride that resists divine guidance.

YOUTH SUPER SUNDAY

Minister: Bro. Dennis Inya
Topic: PRIORITY
Text: Luke 10:38-42, Matthew 6:33

"[38] Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. [39] And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. [40] But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. [41] And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: [42] But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

There was a girl who had a dream of becoming a doctor from a young age. She was intentional about everything, choosing the right school to attend, the books to read, and the kind of life she wanted to live. Her parents supported her and made every effort to enroll her in a good school.

However, while studying, she met some friends who gradually influenced her negatively and distracted her from her goals. She began going out frequently, spending more time partying than studying. Before she realized it, her life had taken a different turn.

In the midst of these choices, she faced serious consequences that eventually led to her losing her life. Her dream of becoming a medical doctor was cut short because she misplaced her priorities. She missed out on what is most important.

WHAT COMES FIRST CONTROLS WHAT COMES NEXT.

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."

This morning, we are looking at a topic titled ''PRIORITY.''
Priority is not what you claim, it is what you consistently choose. It is the throne of your heart—whatever sits there controls your life.

- Your priority is revealed in your routine, not your talk.

- Your priority is exposed in your sacrifice, not your intention.

A student says, “Education is my priority,” but spends 5 hours on social media and 20 minutes reading. That person is not serious about education—his or her priority is pleasure, not progress.

In the same way, many believers say “God is first”… but their Prayer life is occasional, Bible study is irregular, and they remember God only in trouble — that is not priority, it is convenience.

THE CONCEPT PRIORITIES:
1. WRONG PRIORITIES: WHEN THE TEMPORARY BECOMES YOUR GOD
• Esau (Genesis 25:29–34)
One moment of hunger… one careless decision… and destiny was traded for a meal.

How many people today sacrifice their future for pleasure, destroy their destiny for temporary relationships, trade purpose for comfort. My dear, a moment of wrong priority can create a lifetime of regret.

• Martha (Luke 10:38–42)
The Bible recorded that she was busy, active, and serving but missed Jesus. The master said: “You are worried and troubled about many things.”

A worker in church is always busy, planning programs, attending meetings, organizing activities; but has no prayer life. My dear, you can be active in church and still be absent in God.

• Judas Iscariot (John 12:4–6)
He walked with Jesus, saw the miracles He performed that He was truly sent by God, yet sold Him for money.

When money becomes your priority, even Jesus Christ can be negotiable.

2. RIGHT PRIORITIES: WHEN GOD IS TRULY FIRST
• Mary (Luke 10:39)
The Bible recorded that while others were busy, she sat at Jesus’ feet, growing in the things of the Spirit.

She chose what is eternal over what is urgent.

• Daniel (Daniel 6:10)
Even when prayer became illegal, and outlawed in the land, he still prayed.

If prayer was banned today, would your life change? or would it continue normally? This is a test that prayer was never truly your priority?

• Abraham (Genesis 22)
Abraham was without a child for 100 years, but when Isaac came, God asked him for for the son as a sacrifice - Abraham did not hesitate.

Your true priority is revealed when God asks for something painful.

3. MAKING GOD YOUR PRIORITY
Matthew 6:33 is not an advice, it is a divine order.

“Seek first…” means that, before you touch your phone first thing in the morning. Before your plans for your life. Before your ambition and career. Before your relationships and home, God must come first.

Many people wake up and the first thing they touch is their phone to check messages from social media, or SMS notifications, God is pushed aside. If your phone sees your face before God, something is wrong with your priority.

4. HOW TO MAKE GOD YOUR PRIORITY
1. Give God your first moments daily before the noise of the day begins. Meet with Him first, at your closet.

2. Build a consistent prayer life, not one that is based on your mood swings. Not one that is based on convenience; but one that is based on disciplined.

3. Let God influence your decisions. Do not just pray, listen, and obey.

4. Remove every competing idols. Anything that fights God for first place in your life and home must go.

5. BENEFITS OF RIGHT PRIORITIES
- Divine Provision (Solomon, 1 Kings 3:5-13)
- Divine Protection (Daniel, Dan 6)
- Divine Direction (Abraham, Gen 12)
- Peace and stability (David, Psalm 23)
- Favour and Distinction (Joseph, Gen 39)
- Divine Restoration (Job, Job 42:10-12)
- Eternal Reward (Mary, Luke 10:39-42)

This is not a sermon to admire, this is a call to rearrange your life.
Ask yourself:
What truly comes first in my life?
What do I wake up for?
What do I sacrifice for?

Fix a daily time with God and protect it. Reduce distractions intentionally. Reorder your schedule. Make decisions that reflect God first, because if God is not first, then something else is — and that thing will fail you.

Nothing in life collapses suddenly, it does so gradually, through wrong priorities.

We don’t put God into our life, we build our life around God.
