Sermon Topic: Pleasing the Master.
Speaker: Pst. Adetola Adebayo.

• Who is the master? He is the creator of the
heavens and earth, the almighty God. The
Lord Jesus Christ.

• Why must we please the Lord?
- That is why we were called, to give him
pleasure.
- That is what Jesus came to show us (1 Peter
2:21) : We are to follow Jesus. Part of
pleasing the Lord is following his footsteps
while he was on earth.
- That is the secret to doing good works (2
Tim. 2:21)
- That is the secret to God's anointing and
power (1 John 2:27)
- It is a way to be a good example to others (1
Tim. 4:12)

•. How we please God.
- By knowing his will and doing it (Josh. 1:8, 2
Tim. 2:15)
- Preaching the Gospel.
- Know the word of God.
- Identifying with the body of Christ (Heb. 11:
24-25)
