Gospel of the Day (John 16,5-11)

Jesus said to his disciples: "Now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you asks me, 'Where are you going?'
But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts.
But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation:
sin, because they do not believe in me;

How do our ears work?

This was a question that fascinated Nobel Prize laureate Georg von Békésy. He painstakingly dissected the structures that make up our inner ears, studying them with the help of a microscope and sequences of photographs as well as by measuring variations in electrical charges in the receptors. His research shed new light on our understanding of how the cochlea, a spiral shaped structure that transforms vibrations into neural signals, worked.

As the Holy Spirit moved through the room, tears of repentance and joy flowed freely. In His presence, we found solace, comfort, and renewed hope. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the sweet fragrance of prayer and worship. We celebrate the Spirit's gentle guidance, comforting presence, and empowering touch. May His fire continue to burn within us, illuminating our paths and transforming our lives."
