GUMNAZO - (November 2025)
Gumnazo is our church monthly training meeting, where we give much time to the teaching of God's word and Praying as well.
The word Gumnazo is a Greek word which implies, “to exercise or train oneself”. This word was used by the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy
But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
1 Timothy 4:7 KJV
He gives instructions by the spirit of God to exercise himself unto godliness, I believe these instructions remain God's instructions to us today.
The word exercise implies going beyond doing things normally and now doing them as training. That is you are going beyond comfort, imposing pressure and stress upon yourself and what's the outcome, is that the believer is now more proficient with the things of God.
There can't be spiritual Growth without spiritual activities even spiritual exercise.
So it's in this training when we go the extra mile, we are training ourselves to pray for long without sleeping, study God's word for long without sleeping, fast for long hours and win souls as well.
The endpoint of this training is that we are giving more and more devoted to spiritual things and better for God's plan for us.
This month, will be times of consecration, dedication, and strengthening, by God's for our lives and ministry. We trust God for much renewals and refreshing as we wait on him in those days.
