One of the signs that show we are maturing spiritually is that we regularly study and apply God's word in our lives.
God's word is food to our spirit, therefore if we are not studying and meditating on God's word, then we are not feeding. And if we are not feeding on God's word, it means that we are not growing spiritually.
It is important that our spirit grow because if it does, then every area of our lives will grow too.

Wisdom is speaking words that empower you while foolishness is speaking words that destroy you.
We don't report the situation we sense with our body, rather we decree and declare God's report about us.
So instead of continually complaining about your problems, why not start declaring God's word concerning every area of your life?
God has declared you righteous, healthy, wealthy, prosperous and wise.
Be in alignment with God and start saying the same things He has said about you.

We need to actually SEE in our spirits ourselves doing what God has called us to do even when it seems incredible. To many times we do not use our gifts or walk in our call because we talk ourselves out of it "I could never see myself doing that." That's not who I am. We need to see ourselves moving in those gifts. When we do not dream with God we are not dreaming with our potential. When God speaks to you, He's not asking you to believe that you can, He's trying to change your identity, so that you will. So when He gives you a prophetic word, it becomes potential. It becomes a desire that He plants in you, that now you are supposed to dream and start acting out in your mind.

ENGAGE YOUR MIND.
Decisions that will advance your ministry in Christ
Jesus are yours to make. You can be instructed,
taught, encouraged, pushed to do them but the
decision is yours to make. Not making a decision is
a decision. The character to advance your ministry
are yours to build. No one will build them for you.
Either way you look at it you are making a decision,
taking actions and building character. There are no
shortcuts. If you get a shortcut you will be robbing
yourself because there will be a deficiency later.
The greatest leaders in ministry are intentional in
these three things. You have to surround yourself
with folks who are intentional about these things.
You may rise or fall based on the people you
surround yourself with.
You should know that your mind has to come under
the influence of God's Word consistently. It has to
come under the dominion of the Holy Spirit
consistently.Ministry has to involve your mind.
Success in ministry involves active mental work.
Unfortunately a lot of Christians are mentally lazy.
They wait for God's promises concerning their
ministry to fall on their laps. They wait for God to
bring those promises to pass. God has done all that
He needs to do for your ministry to grow. You must
get your mind to work to bring those promises to
pass.
What you see on the inside, you will see on the
outside. That is why meditation is compulsory. A
leader must meditate not just on God's Word but on
the vision of the ministry.
The lowest form of work is to work with just your
body. When you graduate and put your mind into
the work, you will be better off. But if your body,
mind and spirit is put into work, you will be most
successful.
There are newer fresher and better ways of doing
what God has called you to do. And that is why to be
a successful leader, you must do more than is
asked of you. A leader has failed when he does only
what he is asked to.
That is why we have challenges in ministry. They
are there to stretch us. Don't think the challenges
get smaller the longer you do ministry. They get
bigger. But praise God they are there to be
conquered!
Challenge is a call to engage your spirit and your
mind to draw out the solutions. Every challenge
brings with it negative emotions. Use those negative
emotions to declare. Every emotion has an agenda.
You will decide what to do with it.
How do you do this? You use those emotions and
circumstances as a platform to sow words as
seeds. You also sow financial seeds and be
committed to service. Engage all these on the blood
sacrifice, not on willpower. The blood sacrifice is
more effective than willpower. The will of man is
limited, his mind is limited and his emotions are
fickle.
When we base these things on that sacrifice, we
are energised.
Prayer: My mind is engaged for the work of the
ministry in Jesus name.

The Healing word!
One great key I have found in releasing the healing
power of God is speaking the Word to your sickness
with a command. This word must be spoken
confidently. Here is a tool for you to keep using until
the sickness leaves! "For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be
cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart,
but believes that those things he says will be done,
he will have whatever he says" (Mark 11:23).
I know so many great men of God like Kenneth
Hagan and others that believed to confess the word
listen to the promise until faith was a Bible in the
spirit and they just got off their sick bed. Through
your own faith. Your own faith-saturated prayer can
deliver healing to you. Faith will make plans and
move on in spite of the sickness. "Therefore I say
to you, whatever things you ask when you pray,
believe that you receive them, and you will have
them" (Mark 11:24). I also understand that many a
times we need one another in the church to pray for
us in her own personal battles it keeps us
dependent and humble on team. We must always
remember that when we have moments where our
faith is weak can depend on the faith of others that
are moving in strong gifts and never be too proud to
ask for help in prayer. Through the faith of others.
Jesus healed a paralytic because of the faith of the
man's friends. Jesus responded to their faith.
Likewise believers can pray for others.
"When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the
paralytic, 'Son, your sins are forgiven you.' And
some of the scribes were sitting there and
reasoning in their hearts, 'Why does this Man speak
blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God
alone?' "But immediately, when Jesus perceived in
His spirit that they reasoned thus within
themselves, He said to them, 'Why do you reason
about these things in your hearts? Which is easier,
to say to the paralytic, "Your sins are forgiven you,"
or to say, "Arise, take up your bed and walk"? But
that you may know that the Son of Man has power
on earth to forgive sins'—He said to the paralytic, 'I
say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your
house'" (Mark 2:5-11).
TO DESTROY THE DEVIL'S WORK
If God did miracles for no other reason than this
one, it would be enough. He does miracles to
destroy the devil's work! Think about that truth for a
minute. Here's what the Bible says: "God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with
power, who went about doing good and healing all
who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with
Him" (Acts 10:38). Jesus went about doing good
and healing people to set the oppressed free! "For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He
might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
In God's eyes, any sickness or disease is
oppression and a work of the devil. This doesn't
mean you are demon possessed if you are sick;
rather, there is a demonic source behind the illness.
The Enemy is at work to afflict and destroy people's
bodies. We can resist sickness because Scripture
tells us that every sickness and disease is of the
devil. Rise up in God's righteous anger to destroy
the enemy's works--just as Jesus did. In rember
how to destroy the devils work remember the name.
May the manifest healing presence of Jesus come
over you now. I pray that your faith would be strong
and you would see a double portion release of
God's healing presence in your life.

Why you can expect your miracle!
Sin and sickness are works of the devil
1. God certainly has not ordained that the fruit of the
Spirit should be developed by the works of the devil.
This is the work of the Spirit! Christ was manifested
to destroy the works of the devil.
The devil is defeated!
2. Every time the Lord heals, the devil’s defeat at
the Cross is exposed once again.
The Word tells us, “For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil” (1 John 3:8) “You know…how God
anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and
with power: who went about doing good, and healing
all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was
with him” (Acts 10:37-38)
Compassion leads to Miracles!
3. We find in Matthew 14:14, And Jesus…saw a
great multitude, and was moved with compassion
toward them, and he healed their sick. The
multitudes came to Jesus with their sick and
afflicted. It was a pathetic picture that Jesus saw—
one that moved Him with great love—and He made
them whole. Jesus helped create you; He cares for
you, and He is moved with compassion by the
feeling of your infirmity. With that compassion He
sets those free who will believe in Him.
We read in Matthew 20:31,34 that two blind men
cried out to Jesus, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou
son of David…So Jesus had compassion on them,
and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes
received sight.
Giving thanks is always key!
4. There’s a difference between a miracle and
healing. Miracles happen in an instant and healing
happens over time. It is important to recognize the
progress of what God is doing in a person’s body
and give thanks, because healing increases in an
atmosphere of thankfulness. ( Bill Johnson)
His promise is true.
5. This is a favorite verse to stand on "For I will
restore you to health And I will heal you of your
wounds,' declares the LORD," (Jer 30:17)
God's word is medicine
6. "My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your
ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart; for they are life to
those who find them and health to one’s whole
body" ( Prov 4:20-22)
God's Word has the directions for your cure. You
follow the directions for the medication that God has
prescribe to you for the life and health of your body.
Healing is the children's bread
7. Remember, healing is your bread—it belongs to
you in the covenant. Once you have that settled,
your childlike faith will be rekindled that God has
already done it in the cross. Then you need to take
your authority over the devil and walk out what you
believe.

Hebrews 10:38 ' And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I
will take no pleasure in anyone who turns
away.'
The scripture tells us that the just shall live by
faith. To live by faith is to live by the word of
God. No matter the discomfort you may suffer or
how many challenges you face, as a believer you
must live by the word of God, not by what you
think.
God's will for you is to prosper, be in health, have dominion and enjoy an abundant life.
So when challenges come your way, align your faith with what God has said concerning you.

Mat 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Jesus has given us an invitation to come to Him and we'll get rest from whatever is troubling us. It doesn't matter the weight of the burden, Jesus has promised to give rest to all who come to Him and also to take their burdens from them.
When in crisis, keep your eyes focused on Jesus. He restores peace when trouble comes.

Mark 4:39 'He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Peace! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.'
Jesus rebuked the wind and said 'Peace be still'. He didn't say 'Please be still'. He didn't beg the storm rather He rebuked it. When challenges come your way, don't whine and cry about it, don't even beg the situation. Rather stand on the authority that Jesus has given you and command that situation to be calm and receive the peace of God.

Isaiah 60:1-2 (Amplified Bible)

1.ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

2. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen on you.

Don't be fearful during times of uncertainty. God
promises that even when the world gets darker,
He will cause His children to shine with His favor
and blessings. You're the light of the world and you'll shine even in the midst of thick darkness.

While you are here on earth, you will have trials
and tribulations. No one gets by without them.
Your neighbor may tell you how perfect her life is,
but guess what? It’s not. When you focus on God
and your priorities are aligned with His, it doesn’t
mean you won’t suffer; it means that you will find
Him right beside you, to comfort you in your hour
of need, even if you are walking through the valley
of death. The Bible promises you that. He is as
close as the mention of His name!

When God is first in your life and your greatest
desire is to do His will, then every resource you
have is available to Him because you understand
it all belongs to Him anyway. The moment God
sees you as a person who can be trusted with
possessions, you suddenly qualify to receive
more than you have before!
