I remember the first time my Husband, then boyfriend, came to our house with a car to pick me up.
As I came out and wanted to open the car door, he stopped me and said,
“From now henceforth, I will be the one opening the car door for you.” 😂
I laughed because I thought he was joking.
When we got to where we were going, I wanted to open the door and step out by myself again, but this man quickly warned me not to 😭
He came down, opened the door, and acted like a complete gentleman.
Ahhh… love was sweet 😭😂
Now fast forward to a few years after marriage when we finally got our own car. One Sunday morning, we were preparing for church.
Oga entered the car first while I came outside and stood beside the car waiting patiently like the soft girl he created 😂
This man looked at me and asked,
“Are you not entering?”
I said,
“But you said I should never open the car by myself na 🥹”
The next thing this man said was:
“If you are not going to church, tell me and stop wasting my time.” 😭😭😂
Like excuse me sir… what happened to “I will always open the door for you”? 😭
Marriage will humble all the sweet promises people make during relationship 😂
But honestly, it’s the little memories like this that make marriage beautiful and funny at the same time.
Because one minute you’re being treated like a princess, the next minute both of you are arguing over who should lock the gate 😭😂
Love ❤️ and Light 💡
