We are planning to hold the first District board meeting for this tenure on Saturday 21 January, 2017 at LCN,9 Dim Street, Diobu. We will welcome the newly elected Congregational chairmen while thanking the outgoing Chairmen for their services to God and the district these past 5 years. Please endeavor to attend.

This year is election year in the Lutheran Church of Nigeria. This starts with the election at the Synod level during the forthcoming Lutheran Council which holds from November 25th to 27th. The election into the Rivers Zonal Board comes up on Saturday December 3, 2016. The schedule for the other elections for the LCN Port Harcourt are as follows:
Sunday 4th December, 2016 Congregational elections.
Sunday 11th December, 2016 District board elections at the District headquarters.
Sunday 18th December, 2016 District Fellowship elections.
Pray for the success of these elections.

The LCN Port harcourt district board meeting will hold this Saturday 17th September, 2016 at LCN Nkpo by 10am. All Chairmen of LCN Congregations within the district and clergymen serving in the district are expected to attend.

The Lutheran Church of Nigeria, Port Harcourt District Men's Fellowship will be holding her 2016 annual rally from Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th September, 2016 at the LCN Azuabie. The theme of the rally is STANDING FIRM; A CHRISTIAN RESPONSE TO HOSTILITY AND PERSECUTION. Everyone is invited to participate in the events of the rally.

The Lutheran Church of Nigeria celebrates its 80th anniversary and Founders' day on Sunday 11th September, 2016 at the National headquarters, Obot Idim. The theme of the celebration is Abundant Grace to Press on. There will be a NGN100 million fund raising for Lutheran university
