2025 FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE

It is with great joy and delight that we bring you goodwill on the occasion of 2025 Father’s Day Celebration. We give thanks to the Lord Almighty for His inestimable love, grace and sustenance of all our fathers on the course of our untiring efforts to care
for the family.

The theme for 2025 Fathers Week is “Fathers as heads of families under God” (Josh. 24:14 &15). In their role as leaders of the families under God FATHERS are and or possess:

F:Faithful custodians of divine heritage.
A: Amor of God to defend and protect their families.
T: Teachers of the truth and Godly values with an exemplary lifestyle.
H: Helps at all times without discrimination.
E: Ensures discipline and fairness for all with fatherly love.
R: Respected by all due to their diligence in living up to their sacred
duties.

The above are communicable virtues from God our ultimate father which
we inherited at our conversion and do exercise on His behalf as earthly
fathers. As we mark 2025 Father’s day celebration we pray that all fathers will renew their commitment and rededicate themselves to the
Lord to solemnly continue to uphold these virtues. This is what it means
to be a father who is heading his family under God.

May the lord preserve all fathers from the stress and strain of fatherhood
particularly as we battle the wobbling economy in our country in Jesus’ name, Amen.

HAPPY CELEBRATIONS!

Bishop, Diocese of Etche (Anglican Communion)
