Welcome to August — the 8th month of the year!

In the Bible, 8 often signifies new beginnings, and it is our prayer that this month marks the beginning of greater testimonies, divine opportunities, fresh grace, and new dimensions of God's blessings in your lives.

As we journey through this month, may the Lord perfect all that concerns you. May every closed door be opened, every delay turn into divine acceleration, and every prayer receive a timely answer. May His favor surround you, His peace keep you, and His joy be your strength.

May this 8th month usher you into new beginnings, supernatural breakthroughs, and undeniable evidence of God's faithfulness.

Have a blessed, fruitful, and victorious month ahead.

Some goodbyes are not easy. Yesterday was one of those days. ❤️

With grateful hearts, we celebrated two exceptional servants of God whose lives and ministry have left an unforgettable mark on our parish. It was more than a sendforth service—it was a beautiful gathering of love, gratitude, honour, and heartfelt memories.

There were smiles, laughter, joyful dances, warm embraces, and moments that brought tears to many eyes. Every testimony shared reminded us of the countless lives that have been touched, the prayers that have been answered, the sacrifices made, and the unwavering commitment our beloved pastors gave in serving God's people.

Words may never fully express how much you both mean to us, but our hearts are filled with gratitude. Thank you for your leadership, your fatherly and motherly love, your guidance, your prayers, and for faithfully shepherding this flock. Your labour in the Lord has not been in vain.

As you step into this new chapter, we pray that the God who has gone before you will continue to strengthen, preserve, and enlarge your ministry. May He reward every sacrifice, grant you greater grace, fresh anointing, divine favour, and increase on every side.

Though your assignment here has come to an end, the seeds you have sown will continue to bear fruit for generations to come. You will always remain a cherished part of our story.
These photos capture just a glimpse of a truly unforgettable day—a day filled with love, honour, celebration, and heartfelt appreciation.
Thank you, Pastor Kumen Aghomon and Pastor Aghomon Agubokwu Lawretta and Pastor@ Jegede James Olukunle and Pastor Mercy Jegede. We love you, we celebrate you, and we will miss you dearly.
God bless you both abundantly. ❤️

A leader guides, serves, protects and leads by example." A timely message from Pastor Mathias that challenged us to examine our lives and our leadership.

Speaker: Pastor Mathias Jacob Okoh
Topic: A Leader as a Midwife
Text: Exodus 1:19; 2 Timothy 4:4–5

In a world where the true essence of leadership is gradually fading, God is calling His people to rise as leaders who influence with integrity and purpose. Leadership is not limited to positions or titles; every one of us is a leader in one way or another—at home, in church, at work, and within our communities.

A true leader is one who serves, guides, protects, and leads by example. Leadership is not about control or authority but about caring for those God has entrusted into our hands. As believers, we must remember that no activity in the Church compares to the joy and importance of winning souls for Christ.

Qualities that define a godly leader:

- Godliness and complete obedience to God's Word.
- Truthfulness—letting your "yes" be yes and your "no" be no.
- Humility, recognising that no one is above another.
- Acknowledging God in all things.
- Discipline and steadfastness.
- Staying connected to the people you lead.
- Vision, strategy, transparency, and accountability.
- Mentoring others and working with a team spirit.
- Passion for God's work and a consistent prayer life.

One of the key lessons from the message was that you cannot be a bad leader and expect to have good followers. The character of a leader shapes the people they influence.

May God help us become leaders who nurture lives, point people to Christ, and leave a godly legacy wherever He has placed us.
