*GOOD MORN (DAILY DIVINE INSIGHT)*
*DATE: FRIDAY 28 NOV 2025*.
*May this devotion inspire and guide you throughout the day, and may you walk in the confidence of your identity in Christ, shining brightly as a light in the world in Jesus name Amen.*
*TOPIC: RESET YOUR MINDSET*
If you truly want to move forward in life, the first place to start is your mindset. Many people remain stuck because they think negatively, speak negatively, and surround themselves with negative voices. A wrong mindset blocks progress, but a renewed mindset opens doors.
One major area to reset is how you respond to other people’s success.
If you feel jealous, threatened, or uncomfortable when others rise, your mindset needs healing. But when you celebrate others, rejoice with them, and appreciate what God is doing in their lives, you position yourself for your own breakthrough.
Remember: What you appreciate is what you attract. What you celebrate grows.
*BIBLICAL EXAMPLES*
1 Mary and Elizabeth — Celebrating Each Other (Luke 1:39–45)
Instead of jealousy, Elizabeth celebrated Mary’s blessing with joy, even though they were both pregnant with divine destinies.
Her appreciation unlocked more blessings for her household. A good mindset rejoices when others shine.
2.Jonathan and David — No Jealousy, Only Support (1 Samuel 18:1–4)
Jonathan had every reason to be jealous of David, but instead he celebrated him, supported him, and protected him.
Because of this pure mindset, God honoured Jonathan’s name forever.
3.Job — Prayed for Others and God Turned His Own Situation (Job 42:10)
Job didn’t envy others. He interceded for his friends, and then God restored him.
A reset mindset focuses on love, not comparison.
4. The Prodigal Son’s Brother — A Warning (Luke 15:25–30)
He couldn’t celebrate his brother’s return. His jealousy blocked his joy.
It shows that envy blinds you to what you already have.
*KEY SCRIPTURES FOR A RESET MINDSET*
Romans 12:2 — “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
Philippians 4:8 — Think on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 — “In everything, give thanks.”
Proverbs 23:7 — “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
Romans 12:15 — “Rejoice with those who rejoice…”
James 3:16 — Where jealousy exists, confusion follows.
Proverbs 14:30 — “A heart at peace gives life… but envy rots the bones.”
