TOPIC: YOUR PRAISE, JOY AND ABUNDANCE.

SCRIPTURE: Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. Psalm 67:5–6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your praise puts the earth under pressure to release your due increase.

There is something powerful that happens when your life becomes an expression of praise. When your life becomes an embodiment of praise to God, your focus is shifted from what is lacking to what is already working, and in that shift, joy begins to rise naturally. Not the kind of joy that depends on circumstances, but deep, steady joy that remains even in uncertain moments.

We shall be looking at some of the benefits of praise and joy as regards abundance:

1. Your praise puts pressure on your world to release your increase.
Psalm 67:5-6 says, Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
Your praise puts the earth under pressure to release your due increase. If you are a genuine praiser of God, human beings, systems and organisations holding what is yours are put under pressure to release it...And God, even our own God, shall bless us. Do you want God to bless you? Praise Him.
This shows that when we praise God, two things, amongst others, happen:
First, the earth yields her increase.
Second, God blesses us.

Praise, therefore, provokes the earth to yield her increase and moves God to bless us. The more you praise Him, the more He blesses you. And the blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). Your praise activates that blessing.

2. Praise activates divine inspiration, direction, and releases greatness.
There is a way you will praise God and worship Him, and He will show you what to do to obtain supplies.

No wonder, Elisha the prophet said in 2Kings 3:15, But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.

If you are given to the lifestyle of consistent praise and worship of God, you will be divinely directed and daily instructed by God. You would not struggle for God’s Presence when you are a genuine praiser.

Beloved, avoid the spell of depression and the attitude of murmuring. Be deliberate and intentional with your joy and praise. That is why Paul the apostle admonishes us in Philippians 4:4 to always and deliberately rejoice in the Lord.

Remember This: Your praise puts the earth under pressure to release your due increase.

ASSIGNMENT(S)
1. Go over today’s study once again.

2. Avoid the lifestyle of murmuring and deliberately refuse to let anything take away your joy.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your words to me today. I ask that You show me the pathway to lasting joy and contentment. I receive the grace to remain joyful as I continue to trust you for the fulfilment of your purpose for my life, Lord, in Jesus Name.

TOPIC: THE POWER OF MENTALITY IN DESTINY.

SCRIPTURE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until the mind is transformed, life is never upgraded.

Life issues forth from the heart. That is the essential revelation of our anchor Scripture. It makes it abundantly clear that the issues of life flow from the heart.

Mentality refers to a combination of two things: a mindset for living and a vision for the future. For instance, I grew up with a determination of the kind of life I would like to live and the kind of marriage and family I would have. It was very clear to me.

I determined that my children would have the kind of childhood I never had. I made up my mind that what I saw as a child, my children would never experience, and also that what my mother saw as a wife, my wife would never see. It was a conclusive finality.

The Scripture says in Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And our anchor Scripture admonishes us to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

Please note the following:

i. What is found in your heart is the determinant of what you can find in your life. What is missing in your mind cannot be found in your life. It is not possible for a possibility to be missing in your mind and then be found in your life.

ii. The heart or the mind is the factory of destiny. Destiny is processed from the heart. Whatever is not processed in your heart cannot be produced in your life. What is lacking in your heart cannot be found in your life.

iii. What crosses your mind determines what crosses your life. What crosses your heart determines what crosses your life. What is occurring to you determines what can be occurring for you.

iv. Until the mind is transformed, life is never upgraded. It is a transformed mind that produces an upgraded life. If the mind is the same, life will remain the same.

The Bible says concerning the prodigal son, And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee (Luke 15:17-18). When he came to his senses, he came to his changes.

Beloved it takes a transformed mind to have an upgraded life. If your life is at a low level now, begin to transform it by first renewing your mind with a different set of thinking.

REMEMBER THIS: Until the mind is transformed, life is never upgraded.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Guard your heart and mind with all diligence.

2. Renew your mind daily with the Word of God.

3. Refuse negative and limiting thoughts.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word. I receive the grace for a transformed mind and an upgraded life through the instrumentality of Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: PRESERVATION POWER OF PRAISE.

SCRIPTURE: Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who praise God dwell in His presence, and His Presence is a preservative of life.

It is clear from our anchor Scripture that praising God carries preservation power. No wonder, the Psalmist said in Psalms 32:7, Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.

And what does He use to preserve me? “...thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.”
So, praise and worship carry preservation and deliverance power.

Now, how does praise preserve?

1. Praise is key to health, and health is key to preservation.
Unhealthy people can be cut short before their time. Proverbs 17:22 says, A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
So, merriment, which is a major element of praise, carries healing power. An excited person will be healthier than a depressed person any day.

2. Praise is key to strength, and strength helps to withstand adversity.
Nehemiah 8:10 says, …The joy of the Lord is your strength.
Strength helps to withstand adversity. So, your praise enhances your health and strength. Praiseful people are strengthened people; they are not weak people.

3. Praise is key to God’s Presence, and God’s Presence is a preservative of life.
Psalm 22:3 says, But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Those who praise God dwell in His presence, and His Presence is a preservative of life. God lives in praise, and anywhere God lives, there is preservation.

4. Praise activates the covenant of longevity.
The praiser is a beneficiary of the covenant of longevity.

Isaiah 43:21 says, This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

So, when you know how to praise and worship God, you are positioning yourself in the covenant of longevity. I am not talking about whether you know how to sing, because there are singers who are not worshippers; there are instrumentalists who know nothing about worship or the praise of God. I am talking about the man or the woman who is a true worshipper of the living God.

Psalm 150:6 says, Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. By extension, it is also true to say, “Let everything that praises the Lord have breath.”

For example, when Hezekiah needed to prolong his life, he engaged the covenant of longevity through praise (2Kings 20:1-6).

Beloved, your breath is for the purpose of praise, and your praise will guarantee your breath.

REMEMBER THIS: Those who praise God dwell in His presence, and His Presence is a preservative of life.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Make praise and worship a daily lifestyle

2. Refuse the attitude of murmuring, complaining, and depression.

3. Engage in joyful praise to activate strength, health, and longevity.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the privilege of praise to You. I receive the grace to live a life of praise, strength, and longevity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
