Topic: ENGAGING THE WONDERS OF PRAYER AND FASTING PART 2B

Isaiah 58:6-8
Fasting is a proven tool for the manifestation of the supernatural
Such cases are found in :
Exodus 34: 29,1kings 19:8, Esther 4:16

Fasting is not punishing yourself
It is simply aligning yourself to God's will and principles

WHAT THEN IS FASTING?
Fasting is subduing the flesh for the dominion of the spirit
Understand that life is best spiritual than physical because the beauty of Christianity is power.
Consistency in the place of prayer grants us great and fierce power PSALMS 53:3
Stop living a normal life (a prayer less life) as a Christian, this is the difference between a believer and an unbeliever
In the realm of the spirit the only respected language is power and this can only be generated on the alter of prayer

WHAT THEN IS THE PROFITABLE APPROACH TO FASTING?
1. We must come thanking, praising and worshipping on the alter of prayer PSALMS 100:4.
We must be ware of murmuring in his presence because this disconnects us from God.
2. Engage the force of faith MATTHEW 21:22 because only force filled prayers guarantee answers.ACT 11:24
3. We must come boldly and not beggarly HEBREWS 4:16, ISAIAH 38:1-5.Using the word *father* gives value and attention to our prayers. Note that only servants beg, but sons and daughters make demands.
4. We must be committed to kingdom advancement prayers in our fast.
COVENANT DAY OF BREAKING INVISIBLE BARRIERS

* We must understand that amongst the wonders of fasting is breaking barriers

* The cost of prayer and fasting can never be compared to its result. PSALMS 63:1-3.

HOW THEN DO WE DESTROY THESE INVISIBLE BARRIERS?
1. We must engage the power of prayer and fasting for fresh oil
2. Keep serving God and the interest of His kingdom. Note that our service to God is of great benefit to us than unto God.
3. Be committed to growing in your love with God. Our love for God secures divine presence
4. Keep speaking boldly against all forms of barriers in your life. Note that what you dont want, you dont watch PSALMS 81:10-14, LUKE 21:15.

Today, we celebrate a true gift from God to all of us at LFC Rukpokwu. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, your prayers, your sacrifices, and your obedience to God’s call. Through your teachings, we have grown in faith; through your leadership, we have found direction; and through your love, we have experienced Christ in action.

May the Lord reward you abundantly for every seed you have sown, renew your strength like the eagle, and crown this new year with divine wisdom, good health, and overflowing joy. We are grateful for you, we honor you, and we celebrate you.
