Children Church was filled with learning and joy.

God’s word was shared. Children listened with focus and asked questions with curiosity. God’s word was planted in young hearts. May the seed grow and bear lasting fruit.

Topic: Adjusting Your Focus
Texts: Psalm 121:1–8, Hebrews 12:2

Introduction
Life is largely shaped by what we choose to focus on. Your focus determines your perspective, your decisions, and ultimately your outcome. Many people are overwhelmed not because help is unavailable, but because they are looking in the wrong direction.

The Psalmist declares in Psalm 121:1–2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord…” This shows a deliberate adjustment of focus, from uncertainty to divine assurance.

Likewise, Hebrews 12:2 instructs us to look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. This means our focus must not be on problems, people, or pressure, but on God.

Where you seek help determines how you receive it, and what you focus on determines your future.

*Why Must We Adjust Our Focus?*
1. To Build Faith and Dispel Fear (Psalm 121:2)
Faith grows when our eyes are on God; fear grows when our eyes are on circumstances.
When Peter walked on water in Matthew 14:28–30, he succeeded while focusing on Jesus, but began to sink when he focused on the wind.
* Fear magnifies problems
* Faith magnifies God
When you adjust your focus to God, confidence replaces anxiety.

2. To Stand Firm and Enjoy Stability (Psalm 121:3–4)
“He will not suffer thy foot to be moved…”
A life focused on God is a stable life. No matter the shaking around you, you remain unshaken within.
God is your keeper, He never sleeps nor slumbers.
Stability comes from trusting His consistency

In unstable times, focus determines whether you fall or stand.

3. To Enhance Divine Revelation (Psalm 121:5; 2 Kings 6:15–17)
Spiritual sight is a product of proper focus.
In 2 Kings 6:15–17, Elisha’s servant saw only danger until his eyes were opened to see heavenly protection.

When your focus is wrong, you see defeat. When your focus is right, you see divine possibilities
This is why we must pray:
“Father, open my eyes” (Ephesians 1:18)

4. It determines Your Finish (Psalm 121:7–8; 2 Corinthians 4:18; Mark 4:38)
Your end in life is tied to what holds your attention.
2 Corinthians 4:18 reminds us:
“While we look not at the things which are seen…”

Temporary challenges should not distract you from eternal outcomes.
What you see influences how you finish.
In Mark 4:38, while the disciples focused on the storm, Jesus rested in peace. Focus determines whether you panic or prevail.

*Biblical Examples of Focus Determining Outcome*

1. Numbers 13:30–33
The spies saw giants and concluded defeat, but Caleb focused on God and declared victory.
✅Same situation, different focus, different outcome.

2. Numbers 21:8–9
Those who looked at the bronze serpent lived.
✅Healing came by focusing on God’s instruction.

3. 1 Samuel 17 (David and Goliath)
Goliath focused on David’s size; David focused on God’s power.
✅Focus gave David victory.

4. Isaiah 43:18–20
God says, “Remember ye not the former things…”
✅You cannot embrace the new if your focus is on the past.

*Note:*
* Your focus determines your faith level.
* Your focus determines your stability
* Your focus determines your revelation
* Your focus determines your outcome
* If you want divine covering, you must be in alignment with God.

*Encouragement*
* Every setback may look final, but it is not the end.
* If you keep moving with the right focus, your story will end in success.
* Don’t focus on the wave, focus on the Word
* Don’t focus on the storm, focus on the Savior

*Conclusion*
Hebrews 12:2 calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

When your focus is on Jesus:
* Fear loses its grip
* Faith rises
* Direction becomes clear
* Victory becomes inevitable

*Prayer*
Father, please open my eyes, that I may see as You see.
Help me to focus on You and not on my circumstances.
Strengthen my faith, stabilize my life, and guide me to a victorious finish.
in Jesus’ name, Amen.

We thank God for bringing us to the last Sunday of the month. It is not by strength or planning, but by His mercy that we are here.

Today we lifted praise with gratitude in our hearts. Every song carried remembrance of His faithfulness through the days of the month. He kept us, provided for us, and guided us through moments seen and unseen.

As we stand at the close of the month, we return all glory to Him. The same God who brought us here will carry us forward.

What is a children’s service without fun? 💃😊🤩

Today was full of laughter and learning. We prayed, played games, engaged in crafts, shared testimonies, listened to the Word of God, and sang together with joy.

It was a lively and meaningful time in God’s presence 🌱✨

Today, we witnessed a powerful move of God in our midst. Through baptism, lives were openly declared for Christ, in obedience to His command in Matthew 28:19. As they went into the water, it marked the end of the old life, and as they rose, it revealed new life in Him.

These same lives were inducted into the family of faith, just as we see in Acts 2:41, where those who believed were added. We rejoice in this harvest and pray they grow in grace, remain steadfast, and walk daily in the fullness of Christ.

*Topic:* Entering into Newness Through the Fruit and the Gift of the Holy Spirit

*Text:* Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4;

*Introduction*
The Church of the Lord is a holy place. It is a place of power, fire, and the manifestation of newness. This newness is not only evident in the church, but also influences the world through the fruit and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Many are in church, but are not safe. They deceive themselves by refusing the grace of God. There is perversion in the heart of many believers. Some have been given over to a reprobate mind to do what is ungodly and not convenient. The Lord is calling us to repentance. Only then can we truly manifest the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

*1. The Promise of Power for Newness - Acts 1:8*
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...”
a. Newness begins with the Holy Spirit. Without Him, there is no power.
b. The Holy Spirit is given to believers to enhance the work of the kingdom.
c. When the Holy Spirit came on the disciples in Acts 2:1-4, they turned the world upside down, witnessing, winning souls, and touching lives for God.

*2. The Evidence of Newness: The Fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-23*
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…”
a. These nine fruit are the evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the life of believers.
b. Believers are not expected to sit on defense. We must wake up and live a life of holiness that will manifest the fruit of the Spirit.
c. Fruit shows character. Where there is no love, joy, peace and self control, there is no real newness. Many have the activities of church, but not the character of Christ.

*3. The Expression of Newness: The Gifts of the Spirit - 1 Corinthians 12:7-11*
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”
a. The gifts are: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.
b. Gifts are for service and profit to the Body. They confirm the Word and advance the kingdom.
c. When believers walk in holiness and manifest the fruit, they can also manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

*4. What Happens When You Enter Into Newness*
a. *You become fruitful* - Your life begins to produce the character of Christ, and your work produces results for the kingdom.
b. *You become empowered by the Holy Spirit* - Acts 1:8. Weakness gives way to divine ability.
c. *You become bold* - Acts 4:24-31. After they prayed, they were filled and spoke the Word with boldness. Fear leaves when newness comes.

*5. How to Enter Into Newness*
a. *Obedience to God’s Word* - Acts 1:4, 8. They tarried in Jerusalem as commanded. Newness begins when we obey instructions.
b. *Allow the Holy Spirit in your life* - Acts 2:42. They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers. Create room for Him.
c. *Give yourself to prayer and the Word* - The early church was birthed in prayer and sustained by the Word. No prayer, no fire. No Word, no direction.

*Conclusion*
The Lord is calling us out of perversion, deception, and lukewarmness. The Church must return to holiness, power, and manifestation. Newness is possible, but it comes through the Holy Spirit. When we bear His fruit and walk in His gifts, we will turn our world upside down for Jesus.

Repent from every ungodly work. Surrender again to the Lordship of Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. Choose today to walk in obedience, prayer, and the Word so that your life will manifest fruit and gifts.
