*SATURDAY AUGUST 1ST, 2026.*

*HOW TO TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.*

*ISAIAH 50: 10 -11(AMPC), PSALMS 124:8*

*Who is among you who (reverently) fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shinning splendor { in his heart }? Let him rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God.* *Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.*

The beginning of trusting in the name of the Lord is understanding what the name of the Lord is. The name of the Lord is not J. E. S. U. S. There are several people who go by the name Jesus. The name of the Lord is the authority that Jesus the Son of God received by his resurrection from the dead. "For to this end Christ both died, and rise, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living" "( Rom. 14:9 ). "And being found in fashion as a man , he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name,. That at name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in Earth and things under the Earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Phil 2:8-11).

Before his resurrection he was already called Jesus. The name God gave him after his resurrection was not J. E. S. U. S. It was an authority over every other power and authority. He became Lord of all. He can now control and exercise influence over every other power and authority. The way to trust in the name of the Lord is to trust that by the authority of the resurrected Christ you have victory over that situation or area of your life.

Jesus is Lord of all. I trust that by the authority of the resurrected Christ I have the victory.

OUT OF YOUR BELLY.

TEXT:

JOHN 7:37-39. (NIV)

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

MESSAGE:

Whenever you expect the Spirit or power of God to manifest in a situation or a person’s life, where do you expect the power to come from? Jesus did not say rivers of living waters will flow from Heaven or from a certain man or woman of God; He said it will flow out of you. Stop expecting the power of God to fall from Heaven or from a minister of God. Expect it to come out of you. Stir up the power of God in you and let it flow. Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” You have the fullness of the Holy Spirit in you. God has anointed and sent you with the Holy Ghost and power just as He anointed and sent Jesus (Acts 10:38, 2Cor. 1:21). The very same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Eph. 1:19-20); not in Heaven or in one man or woman of God. All the fullness of God dwells in Christ and you are complete in Him (Col. 2:9-10).

Arise and make impact by the power of God’s Spirit in you. Jesus did not say you should follow after signs and wonders; He said signs and wonders will follow you because you believe in Him (Mark 16:17). You have an ocean inside you; stop begging or hoping for a cup of water. Keep your faith in Jesus (Acts 3:11-16). God supplies His Spirit and works miracles because we believe the Gospel (Gal. 3:5).
