There is a responsibility that comes with being a child of God.

Just as you naturally recognise your earthly father and find ways to honour him, your relationship with your Heavenly Father should also produce a desire to be useful in His house.

You have been given gifts, abilities, strength, time and opportunities and they are not meant to be wasted.

The Kingdom needs your hands, there is a work that carries your name on it.

Service is not simply something we do when it is convenient, it is part of our responsibility to God.

Don’t only come to receive. Ask yourself:
“Lord, where can You use me?”

Have you seen a Sunday like this?

From Yahweh on our lips to praise that made us lose our steeze, heartfelt worship, powerful prayers to extraordinary dance moves.

And then the Word from our resident pastor that shaped us, the 4th Sunday of CHARIS was one to remember.

We encountered the extraordinary presence of the Holy Ghost.
We encountered joy.

We came. We beheld. We were formed.

This is GIC Choba.
This is the house of God. 🤍

In the work system, there are levels you must attain if you want to create cash flow.

First is hard work.
You cannot afford to be weak at this level. There are things that will only respond to your labour. If you are lazy, you will struggle.

Then comes smart work.
At some point, you realise that working harder is not always the answer. You need strategy. You need to know what works and what doesn’t.

Then comes network.

Because your network determines your net worth.

Somebody has to open a door you couldn’t open by yourself.

And that is why everybody cannot be on the same level.

Our responsibility is not just to rise. It is to help other people rise too.

Prosperity is not just a product of labour, it is also a product of favour.

There are people who work incredibly hard, yet their results don’t reflect the magnitude of their effort. And there are people whose results seem to carry a dimension beyond what their labour alone could produce.

So when your labour produces results, don’t just celebrate your effort, thank God for favour.

If you have done well, never be so impressed with yourself that you forget the One who made your success possible.

Common sense produces common results. But when divine favour is added to labour, ordinary effort can produce extraordinary outcomes.
