Text: Eph. 5:25-33

Qualities of a HUSBAND MATERIAL
1. Loves God.
2. Loves sacrificially.
3. A leader on all fronts including spiritually in humility and wisdom. Takes the initiative.
4. Provides, protects, nourishes and cherishes.
5. Faithful and trustworthy.
6. Teachable and humble.
7. Man of purpose and vision. Helps in leadership.

Biblical Examples
1. Boaz to Ruth: Respectful, helpful, generous, protective. Ruth 2:4-17
2. Joseph: God fearing, obedient. Genesis 42:18
3. Abraham: Leader, example.
4. Lapidoth: Supportive Judges 4:4
5. Hosea: Married a harlot. Christlike love. Hosea 3

Practical Application
1. Marry pattern not potential.
2. Focus on becoming what you want
3. Keep the energy moving. Be like you were before you were chosen.
4. Ask your wife areas of improvement.
5. Encourage spiritual growth.
6. Pray for your husband to be a husband material.

We ended the family week with a mid-year thanksgiving. God has been good to us as families and as a church.

It is always a thing of joy for us coming to thank God for all he has done for us for the first half of the year. We danced and rejoiced in God's presence.

How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity. Psalm 133:1.

We had a beautiful time in church during our family week. It was a week filled with teachings, talk show and prayers for the family.

It is the will of God that there is unity, harmony, love, obedience and respect within the family structure.

Our families will glorify God.

On Saturday, we visited the Port Harcourt Children’s Home to share love with the orphans and kids there, as part of our activities to mark our 52nd anniversary as a ministry.

We prayed for them,
We danced with them,
We shared our gifts with them,
We enjoyed our time of fellowship with them.
