The Recognition of Faith, Discipline and Leadership.
101st Port Harcourt Company of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, attached to Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Rukpakwolusi, has successfully held its Enrollment Service on Sunday, September 27, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to raising boys in faith, discipline and service.
The ceremony featured the restatement of vows, declaration of the Chaplain, enrollment of boys, and induction of Officers and Patrons, in line with the traditions of The Boys’ Brigade.
The enrollment rites were conducted on behalf of the State Secretary-Organizer, Mr. Chukwudi Ebim, ANTO, by Mr. Chinedu Anyawu, ANTO, while the State President was represented by the State Vice President, Projects and Investments, Sir Chief Raymond Elewonke, ABH.
Speaking during the ceremony, Sir Chief Elewonke emphasized the importance of the Boy Child Ministry, noting the significant role The Boys’ Brigade continues to play in shaping responsible young people and strengthening the bond between the Church, the boy child and the community.
The event was attended by the Battalion Council Chairman, Sir Chukwuemeka Daniel Awaye, ABH; Battalion Council Secretary, Mr. Temple Wagwu, NTO, as well as Patrons, Officers and Boys of the Battalion Council.
The successful enrollment marks another step towards nurturing boys in faith, discipline, leadership and service, preparing them to become responsible contributors to the Church and society.
