D/LINE DIOCESAN ANNUAL CONVENTION tagged BETHEL: THEMES SINCE INCEPTION
In 2018, having observed that the world is increasingly marked by chaos and moral decay, D/Line Diocese rose above all odds to embark on a journey taking a cue from the Biblical example of Jacob. That journey took us to BETHEL where we pitched our tent. We affirmed "THE CHURCH AS AN AGENT OF PEACE AND HOLINESS,(2018)" reminding us of our divine mandate.
BETHEL sprung up and sprouted, but before the wind of the euphoria could overwhelm us, the SPIRIT nudged us to the signals of the Master telling us “WHEN GOD SPEAKS, JUST OBEY” (2019); a solemn reminder that yielding to the instructions of the Master is pertinent in the race.
From nowhere came a plague that ravaged the whole world called COVID, and as the world grappled with the unprecedented challenges of survival, the question arose, "WHOM SHALL I SEND?" (2020), calling for willing hearts and devoted lives ready to stand in the gap.
While COVID ravaged on, Christians were alerted with a subtle tone of "WHILE MEN SLEPT" (2021), emphasizing the dangers of spiritual complacency and the need for vigilance in these perilous times.
Counting the cost, we looked unto God for recompense in "REDEEMING THE TIME" (2022). This message urged believers to make the most of every moment in preparation for eternity. And because of this we could confidently look the devil in the face and tell him we are "MORE THAN CONQUERORS" (2023).
Thus, having received help, we are left with no other option than to continue "BUILDING FOR ETERNAL REWARDS" (2024). For this, we shall not lose focus.
Worthy is the Lamb... Hallelujah!
