As we draw yet closer to our 2-Year Anniversary, it is only fitting that we honour one vessel who, from time past even till date, has believed in and stood with what God is doing at Ignition Network—Pastor Theophilus Sunday.
A Puritan indeed.
I fondly call him my Baba T, because that is exactly who he has been.
There are men whose greatest investment is not money, but themselves. Baba T has been one of such gifts to this commission. He would defer meetings just to be with us, and every moment around him has been a testament that genuine love is measured by presence, sacrifice, and truth.
I remember the first meeting we had as a commission in September 2024. He was delayed at the airport for more than six hours. Humanly speaking, returning would have been understandable. But the words he spoke to me revealed the depth of his heart.
He said Marto, if no be you, I for don go back.
Those words have remained with me, not merely as a statement, but as a revelation of covenant love.
Baba, thank you for always believing. Thank you for the prayers, the counsel, the hours of Bible study, the moments of laughter, the corrections, and the labour of love you have poured into my life and this assignment. Thank you for seeing tomorrow in us while we were still growing into today's reality.
As Ignition Network marks two years of God's faithfulness, we are reminded that God builds visions through men who are willing to stand with Him and stand with people.
We honour you. We celebrate you. May the Lord continually preserve your consecration, increase your oil, strengthen your hands, and cause your voice to remain a trumpet that awakens a generation.
We love you deeply, Baba T. ❤️🔥
