TOPIC: ATTITUDE TO MEET GOD'S STANDARD
Romans 10:9-10, John 14:15 and 23, Matthew 16:24, 1Peter 2:21.
•PUNCTUALITY TO CHURCH SERVICES: As a Christian, if you are constantly going late to church programs, it proves that your love for God has grown cold.
Once you realise you fall in that category, you need to wake up in your spiritually life before it's too late.
•REFUSING TO RECEIVE CORRECTIONS: Most Christians build a "stubborn" attitude towards the things of God and things concerning the church. Like refusing to listen to the usher's direction, breaking the rules and regulations of the church.
You need to break out of such situation.
•ALWAYS GOING OUT OF ONGOING SERVICE TO PICK CALLS: (Matthew 6:19-20)
It is a sin to take breaks during the service of the Lord.
Imagine if you were in a meeting conference with the president and other executives, would you excuse your self for a call our side of the meeting? So, please let is reference God in our activities.
•LEAVING THE CHURCH BEFORE THE CLOSURE OF THE SERVICE.(For No Particular Appointment): It is a disrespect and a slap in the face of God to leave his presence while His Service is going on.
•CLUSTERING OR GATHERING AROUND THE CHURCH FOR NOTHING IMPORTANT: Most Christians thinks it's okay go by the church premises to hang around and gossip or discuss politics or football or something irrelevant to the sight of God. In his presence while the Service is ongoing.
Let us all refrain from that habit.
We all need go wake up from this slumber and adjust ourselves, turn to God for renewing and refreshing of your mind that you may be found worthy in his sight.
Few of The Qualities you need to put at all times to meet God's standards are;
• You need to stand and speak the truth at all times
• Be open-minded to the things if God and be ready to listen to HIM.
• Hold no grudge against anyone. Forgive your offenders.
• You need to develop hunger for prayer and fasting.
