Congratulations to our beloved Elder and faithful servant, Elder Samuel Uduak, on his election as the Music Director of the Port Harcourt West Conference during this historic Constituency/Quinquennial Session.

In the spirit of unity and under the clear leading of the Holy Spirit, the delegates have entrusted Elder Samuel with this sacred responsibility to lead our conference in uplifting Christ through sacred music, nurturing choirs, coordinating worship in song, and inspiring the remnant church to praise God with excellence and devotion.

We praise the Lord for His faithfulness in calling and equipping dedicated laborers like Elder Samuel Uduak to advance the proclamation of the Three Angels’ Messages through the ministry of music. His experience, spiritual maturity, and passion for harmonious worship will surely bless our congregations and draw many hearts closer to Jesus.

Brethren, please join us in earnest prayer for Elder Samuel Uduak as he steps into this role—may the Lord grant him divine wisdom, creativity, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to lead our music ministries with joy, integrity, and mission focus.

Port Harcourt West Conference Officers Elected for the 2026–2030 Quinquennium.

Brethren, the Lord has spoken through the voice of the constituency.

In solemn prayer and under the Holy Spirit's direction, during the inaugural Constituency/Quinquennial Session at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mile 3, the Port Harcourt West Conference has elected its officers to lead the remnant church in this field for the next quinquennium.

Conference Officers Elected:
- President — Pastor Solomon Odinyebuchi Okonu
- Executive Secretary — Pastor Alvin Chigaemezu Ikeocha
- Treasurer — Pastor Tombari Kpenu

Faithful delegates have also elected Departmental Directors and Executive Committee members to unite in proclaiming the Three Angels’ Messages and building up the saints.

These proceedings, guided by the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC), continue in order and harmony. The session will reach its sacred climax this very Sabbath, February 28, with the ordination of ministers and the formal installation of the elected leadership, setting them apart for the work of the gospel.

To our great God be all the glory for His manifest leading, the spirit of unity, and the promise of greater things ahead.

Let us continue to intercede earnestly for Pastor Solomon Odinyebuchi Okonu, Pastor Alvin Chigaemezu Ikeocha, Pastor Tombari Kpenu, and the full leadership team—that they may be filled with divine wisdom, courage, and the latter rain power to finish the work.

The Port Harcourt West Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has officially commenced its first-ever Constituency/Quinquennial Session.

The session opened on a powerful spiritual note at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mile 3, with worship, prayer, and deliberations firmly rooted in Scripture and centered on our shared mission to proclaim the Three Angels' Messages.

Delegates and members gathered in an atmosphere charged with the presence of the Holy Spirit, setting a strong foundation for the important business, elections, reports, and vision-casting ahead.

We praise God for His leading as we seek to advance His work in our territory.

Please keep the session in your prayers for divine guidance, unity, and a renewed commitment to mission.

What a blessed and transformative week we had during the Christian Home and Marriage Week from February 14–21, 2026.

Under the powerful theme "Family, Faith, and Focus in a Digital World", our church family came together to reflect, pray, and grow in reclaiming God's design for our homes amid today's tech-saturated age.

A special highlight: During the week, we joyfully welcomed a precious newborn baby into our church family. 👶🎉 What a beautiful reminder of God's gift of life and the legacy we're building together.

The week culminated on Saturday with a wonderful potluck meal fellowship—sharing food, laughter, stories, and precious time in community. It was the perfect way to end on a note of gratitude and togetherness. 🍲🥗

Thank you to everyone who participated, prayed, shared insights, and made this week so meaningful. Let's carry these lessons forward—guarding our homes, redeeming our time, and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus in this digital world.

Mission of Mercy Completed – Glory to God.

Beloved family and friends,
From February 18th to 20th, 2026, the Seventh-day Adventist Church Port Harcourt District poured out love in action through our 3-Day Free Medical Outreach specially for the courageous men and women of the C4i Octopus Strike Force, Ojoto Road, Port Harcourt.
These hardworking security heroes protect us daily — today we said THANK YOU by caring for THEIR health.

Over the three powerful days our dedicated volunteer team provided:
✅ Medical consultations
✅ Instant malaria testing
✅ Body weight & BMI checks
✅ Blood sugar screening
✅ Blood pressure monitoring
✅ Dental examinations & advice
✅ Comprehensive eye checks + FREE prescription glasses 👓
Impact?

Over 70 officers received life-changing screenings and free eyewear — helping detect issues early so they can continue serving our community with strength and clear vision.

This was more than healthcare…
It was Christ's love in action — “Heal the sick… freely you have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)

A massive THANK YOU to every doctor, nurse, dentist, optician, coordinator, Elders, PM Leaders and prayer warrior who made this possible through selfless service. God bless you richly! 🙏

Seventh-day Adventist Church Port Harcourt District 3 Days Free Medical Outreach for Security Personnel –

Glory to God.
Yesterday (February 18, 2026), the Port Harcourt District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church successfully launched our compassionate free medical outreach program targeted at our hardworking security personnel at the C4i Octopus Strike Force base, Ojoto Road, Port Harcourt.

The team provided essential health services including:
Medical consultations
Instant malaria testing
Body weight measurements
Blood sugar level checks
Blood pressure (BP) monitoring
Dental examinations and checks

We are thrilled to report that over 30 officers benefited from these vital screenings, promoting early detection and better health amid their demanding duties.

Today (February 19, 2026), the outreach continues with even more impact! A dedicated team of opticians will be joining us to offer:

Comprehensive eye examinations
Free prescription glasses for those in need

This is all part of our commitment to "heal the sick" and show Christ's love through practical service to our community heroes in security.

Thank you to our volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, opticians, and support team for your selfless dedication.

❤️ What a beautiful day in the house of the Lord! Today our church family came together for an unforgettable Love Feast themed 'Boundless Love' – a powerful reminder of God's endless, unconditional love that knows no limits! (Like Ephesians 3:18-19 says, may we grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ!)

The program was such a blessing:
- A thought-provoking Symposium that deepened our understanding of God's agape love
- Soul-stirring Special Song ministration that lifted our spirits
- A touching Poem that spoke straight to the heart
- And the highlight – Exchange of Gifts, where we shared tokens of love and appreciation with one another

It was a true celebration of fellowship, unity, and demonstrating Christ's boundless love in practical ways. We laughed, prayed, sang, and left feeling more connected as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Thank You, Jesus, for this sweet time of refreshing! And huge thanks to everyone who made it possible – organizers, participants, choir, speakers, and all who showed up with open hearts. 💕
