This is the week where God seals miracles, releases testimonies, and pours out uncommon grace..

Heaven is already OPEN over us…

CHRIST HARVEST ANG CHURCH CELEBRATES 2025 ADULT HARVEST

tagged: “HARVEST OF EXTRA MILE”

It was a day of great joy, gratitude, and divine encounter as Christ Harvest Ang Church, Faith Avenue held her 2025 Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sun Nov. 9th 2025…

The theme for this year’s celebration, “HARVEST OF EXTRA MILE” (Luke 21:4), captured the spirit of devotion, sacrificial giving, and commitment that filled the entire service.

The event began with a holy communion service as a result of the ongoing “91DAYS AT THE MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE followed by spirit-lifting praise and worship session, where the congregation joyfully expressed their gratitude through songs, dance, and heartfelt adoration. The church band led the congregation in powerful renditions that prepared the atmosphere for an encounter with God.

A powerful sermon was delivered on the harvest theme *“Harvest of Extra Mile* by Rev Nelson Okocha who emphasized the importance of going beyond the ordinary in our service, sacrifice, and faith…

Drawing inspiration from Luke 21:4, CHACFA members were reminded of the widow’s offering, a timeless example of wholehearted giving and unwavering trust in God.

One of the high points of the celebration was the presentation of crops by selected women led by mama CHACFA Mrs Chioma Okocha which symbolized thanksgiving for a fruitful season.

The day also featured the harvest support and family by thanksgiving, during which individuals and families joyfully danced to the altar to express their appreciation to God for His blessings throughout the year...

The Vicar (Rev. Nelson Okocha) during his closing remarks expressed profound gratitude to all members, friends, and well-wishers who contributed to the success of this year’s harvest…

He commended the spirit of commitment demonstrated by everyone and encouraged the congregation to keep going the EXTRA MILE in service to God and humanity.

Special appreciation was extended to the Harvest Planning Committee, ably led by the Chairman, Mrs. Jane Peters, for their dedication, creativity, and effective coordination that ensured the smooth running of the event…

The vicar also commended the efforts of the church groups, men, youth, women, and children who all played vital roles in the celebration.

The 2025 Adult Harvest of Christ Harvest Ang Church Faith Avenue will be remembered not just as a day of thanksgiving, but as a manifestation of faith, unity, and the blessings that come when believers choose to go the extra mile for God.

Indeed, this year’s harvest has reaffirmed that when we give our best to God, He rewards us with abundance beyond measure..

The 2025 Woji Archdeaconry women conference hosted by Christ Harvest Ang Church indeed ended in praise, marked by significant moments that uplifted and inspired attendees.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CONFERENCE
1. Award Presentation: Special recognition was given to selected women who have made impactful contributions to their society and the church.

2. Church-by-Church Thanksgiving: Expressions of gratitude reflected the collective joy and fellowship.

Mrs. Rose Chieme delivered a powerful message on “Making a Difference as a Woman of Influence" emphasizing the call for women to leave a lasting mark.

- Influence: The ability to shape character or behavior; a capacity to impact others.

When you see men rise extraordinarily, MERCY is at work in their lives…

He will redeem only because of HIS MERCY ..

Mercy is part of the attributes of the Lord..

King Saul at a point forgot that he was redeemed by the mercy of the redeemer..

The Bible did not tell us any qualifications for which Saul was selected to be king over Isreal but MERCY separated him..(1 Sam 9:14-20)

Whenever God wants to show you MERCY, He makes your path to cross with another important personality..

Redeemer’s mercy will never give up on you even when everyone have given up..

Mercy chooses us and not our tribe, qualifications or physical appearance…(1sam 10:24)

One thing you should never do is to abuse Gods mercies upon your lives because the repercussion is so dangerous (1sam 13:10-13).

Abuse of MERCY is when one is confronted of sin and cannot say SORRY..

There was never a time when King Saul or Adam ever said, "I AM SORRY TO GOD"....

MERCY IS ONE THING EVERY CHILD OF GOD SHOULD SEEK EVERYDAY…

God chose the house of Jesse not by qualifications but by Mercy to replace Saul..

When Samuel got to the house of Jesse, it was Mercy that located the last born -David (1sam 16:11-13)..

Despite all the blessings of Solomon, he didn’t recognize Gods mercy…

When God chooses you, it was with a closed eyes, even when he sees that you’re not qualified, He(God) qualifies you..

When you abuse the mercy of God, God withdraws it…

May you never depart from today’s fellowship without His mercy..

KNOWING YOUR REDEEMER BY EXPERIENCE

KNOWING YOUR REDEEMER is not about having Him among the list of people you know.

There’s a level of knowledge you will have, it will transcend to EXPERIENCE..

If knowledge doesn’t transform into EXPERIENCE, it is useless…

KNOWING YOUR REDEEMER must be an experience not a mere knowledge..

Job has seen Gods faithfulness in many ways..

A good number of us knows Jesus as our redeemer without proof..

Lack of evidence in the body of Christ have made many not to believe our God..

David needed Gods proof and evidence for his enemies to know that God have helped him(psalm 86:17)..

The best part of the REDEEMER is not in the knowledge but in the EXPERIENCE..

EXPERIENCE comes with ENCOUNTER while KNOWLEDGE comes by EDUCATION..

Some of our belief level is so low because we have not experienced it..

You can see the difference between Apostle Paul and other disciples.

Other disciples experienced Christ by education while Paul experienced Christ by encounter…(Acts 9:1-6)

Paul knows that more of the experience with God, the more your confidence in God..

No great man was produced except by an ENCOUNTER..

One of the greatest man in the scripture (Moses) was a product of ENCOUNTER(Exo 3:2-4)…

WHAT BRINGS ABOUT TRANSFORMATION IS ENCOUNTER..

HEARING THAT IS NOT MIXED WITH FAITH AMOUNTS TO NOTHING…

Hearing about Jesus is different from seeing Jesus and much different from touching Jesus…(1john 1:1)

Information can be wrong due to what you heard …

Hearing can give you the impression to step up..

What you have heard can be different from what you see..

But the experience of touching is far different from hearing and seeing…

There’s no deception from what you touch..

EXPERIENCE GOES WITH DEEP CONVICTION..

Experience is not ABSTRACT but CONTACT..

The woman with the issue of blood knew that by touching Jesus, her miracle will come faster…(Mark 5:25-30)

Any information that ends as Knowledge cannot bring transformation. That’s the reason why employers seek for years of experience and not qualifications..

God also cannot employ you without experience for HE CANNOT USE A VESSEL HE IS YET TO PROVE…

The level at which you relate with God is directly proportional to the level at which He will relate with you…

EXPERIENCE IS GOD’s PROVE OF WHO YOU ARE & WHEN GOD IS TESTING YOU, REMAIN QUIET..

EXPERIENCE EMPOWERS YOU IN THE PLACE OF AUTHORITY

This very morning, how many of us are ready and hunger to experience their redeemer…?
