Dead bones are not the end of the story— only God writes the end of our stories.

If it's still breathing, it's not too hard. If it's dead and dried, God's not limited.

With God,

graves can become gardens,

bones can become armies,

seas can become highways,

ashes can become beauty!

God can breathe life into hopeless, dead, forgotten situations—it's not hard for Him!

When God speaks, even dead bones can live!

The things that destroy don't usually look like destruction.

The things that distract don't usually show off as distractions.

The things that kill don't usually look like killers.

They usually come in forms that are good for food, pleasant to the eyes and desirable to make you wise. They sound like:

"God understands!"

"Wene, you're just human!"

"If we don't have s*x while dating how then do we know we are s*xually compatible?"

Simple words like: "I am not the only one doing it." "It's just a video. It's just a visit. I won't do it tomorrow. Nobody can see me."

As harmless and 'wise' as they sound, they can take even the greatest of men down. And you know the subtle thing about falling? It's not usually noticed early, it's not usually loud—just quiet, unnoticeable and then the fall.

By all godly means, take charge of your life.

Always remember that God's going to judge us based on what He has given us and not what He has given someone else. As a result, stay focused on your own assignment. Fulfil your own purpose.

Just because something looks good on the other person doesn't mean it's for you or it'll fit you too. Stay with your assignment beloved, be proud of it, honor it and handle it with grave caution. That is where your reward and judgement will come from.

Do it with shaky faith, do it with mustard seed faith, go confused, start without all the details, take the first step even though you are unsure about the next steps, do it afraid, don't wait for all the stars to align—just START.

I'm saying that: If God puts a seed in your heart, don't wait for all the details, don't wait for all the resources and don't wait for clarity. While clarity is good, faith is important. If you wait to get ready before you start doing what God has put in your heart, you are already late.

Start.

Walking in faith isn't just an advantage, it is obedience.

Yesterday, David was anointed the second king of Israel and today, he is seen arranging his bags to go tend for his dad’s flocks in the bush.

He didn’t say to his dad— “I have been anointed now, the field is no longer for me." He continued serving.

Many days later, his dad sent him to deliver some foods to his older siblings at the battlefront. Amazing David still obeyed. Remember he was carrying the king’s anointing!

He didn’t know he was about to hit the next phase of his beautiful destiny. In the midst of that obedience, he came face to face with destiny and you know the story.

You see, don’t put off opportunities to be a blessing to people, to serve those around you, to wash the dishes, do some house chores and run some errands too. It may seem insignificant. Like David, you may have big things in your heart, but what’s in front of you is not lining up with your dream.

Your purpose could be waiting for you at that next act of obedience. That may be where you meet your Goliath. We have to humble ourselves and serve others even when we have much more in us.

No better way to round up this post than the very words of my mentor - YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING IN THE PLACE OF SERVICE.

Keep serving. Protect your heart from pride. Stay humble. Stay in service.

God told His people the promised land was theirs - but they would have to fight for it.

This is a warning to us that destiny is a fight—it's not something you walk into casually; it is something you must contend for else you'll miss out on it.

Just because you have a beautiful dream does not mean you won't have to war it into reality.

Many people have big dreams that they never get to walk into simply because they were never willing to pay the required price for it.

What are you sacrificing for your destiny?

What are you willing to let go of?

What are you willing to embrace for the sake of your destiny?
