*THE REASON JESUS GAVE YOU HIS ALL*

EPHESIANS 1:3b-5 (GNB) ..in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus …he would make us his children—this was his pleasure and purpose.

The reason why Jesus gave you His all is because of how much He loves you and how much you mean to Him. You are precious and valuable to Him. He simply chose to love you and give His all for you. You did not have to do anything to deserve His love. Before the foundation of the world, God chose you to be His own.

Jesus gave His all for you in order to redeem you. He sacrificed His life to save you and to restore you back to God’s original intention for your life. For by Adam’s sin, we all were lost and doomed to eternal damnation (separation from God). We were without hope and we could not be all that God wanted us to be. But thank God that Jesus came to restore us.

Jesus gave you His all so you will live and walk in His fullness, growing up into Him in all things, (Eph.4:13-15). God wants you to live and function like Christ on this earth. God has a glorious purpose and plan for your life. By what Jesus did, God has recreated you in Him so that you can do the works He planned beforehand for you to do, (Eph.2:10, AMPC). God united us with Christ so that we can continue the work of Christ even after Jesus left the earth. This is why Jesus has sent us into the world just as the Father sent Him, (John 20:21).

PRAYER:
I THANK YOU FATHER FOR THE GREAT LOVE YOU HAVE FOR ME AND FOR CHOOSING ME. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT PURPOSE YOU HAVE FOR MY LIFE.

TOPIC: GOOD GIFTS

TEXT: Matthew 7:7, 9-11
" Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: *Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? "

When parents buy something good for their children, it is not only the children that feel happy about it, the parents also have great joy from seeing their children happy and enjoying what they got for them. Many times, parents make great sacrifices just to give good things to their children and see them happy. Beloved, this is the same way God feels about answering your prayers and giving you good things.

God likes to give you good gifts. God longs to be gracious to you, (Isa.30:18). God takes delight in your prosperity, (Psa.35:27). God wants you to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17 says God gives us richly all things to enjoy. He is the Father of light and He likes us to give us good and perfect gifts, (James 1:17). Stop thinking that God likes to see you suffer and that God does not like answering your prayers. That is not the kind of Father He is.

He cares about every single detail of your life. That is why He did not only count but numbered every hair on your head, (Matt.10:30). He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you, (1Pet.5:7). He wants to perfect all that concerns you, (Psa.138:8). Whenever you lack wisdom or any good thing, ask God in faith and believe that He will give it to you abundantly (James 1:5).

Payer Focus:
Thank God for His great care and love for you, and ask Him in faith for every good thing that you desire.

The Archbishop has declared the theme of May 2025 as the Month to focus on Christ for His immeasurable Love and Grace to forgive Eph 4:32, Col 3:13, 1 John 4:7.

Please remember the following national programs for the month of May 2025:

2. May 1st to 4th: Agape Force Global Teens Week (in all branches)

3. May 20th to 24th: Bishops and Coordinators 2nd Quarter Retreat

4. May 25th: CGMI National Children’s Day

The theme of the year 2025 is: Focus on Christ for His immeasurable and infinite Love.

Happy Resurrection great people of God

Today is the resurrection day of our Lord Jesus Christ 😁 a day Jesus Christ conquered death, a day Jesus Christ said, "oh death where is thy sting." Jesus Christ is risen, He's not in the grave 🥳🥳🥳

I pray for you this morning, may the resurrection power that quicken Jesus Christ from the dead bring u peace, happiness & chase away every dead thing in your life.... Amen

REMAINING FAITHFUL BY THE MERCY OF GOD

1CORINTHIANS 7:25 (KJV, TPT)

Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. *Now let me address the issue of singleness. I must confess, I have no command to give you that comes directly from the Lord. But let me share my thoughts on the matter, as coming from one who has experienced the mercy of the Lord to keep me faithful to him.

What is your motivation for being faithful to God? In our text above, Apostle Paul shows us that His motivation for being faithful to God came from His consciousness or revelation of the mercy of God. There is a point to which you will understand and be conscious of the mercy God has shown you in Christ that it will make you broken and sold out to Him. It will make you loyal and committed to Him. It will make you give Him your all. Peter forsook all and followed Jesus because he was broken by the grace Jesus showed him, (Luke 5:1-11).

In Romans 12:1 (NIV) he said, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” The Living Bible says, “And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy—the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?” The Passion Translation says, “Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.”

TOPIC: YOU ARE A SON JUST LIKE JESUS

JOHN 20:16-17 (TPT) “Mary,” Jesus interrupted her. Turning to face him, she said, “Rabboni!” (…“my teacher”) Jesus cautioned her, “Mary, don’t hold on to me now, for I haven’t yet ascended to God, my Father. And he’s not only my Father and God, but now he’s your Father and your God! Now go to my brothers and tell them what I’ve told you, that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God!”

By your faith in Jesus, you are born of God, (John 1:12-13). You have received His life and the power to experience everything a son of God should experience. Your life experiences and realities are no more from your flesh and blood; they are based on the life of God in you which God says is the same that Jesus has in Him, (1 John 5:10-12). Jesus came to raise many sons to glory, (Heb. 2:10). Jesus said God the Father loves you just as He loves Him, (John 17:23). He is now a Father to you in the exact same way He is to Jesus. This is what Jesus was telling Mary in our text above. This is what the death of Jesus accomplished for us.

When Jesus said, “I and my Father are one” (referring to God), the Jews took up stones to stone Him, because they felt He was blaspheming by claiming He had the same life God has. Right now, you can say the same thing because you have become one with Jesus, (1 Cor. 6:17, 1 John 4:17). You can walk in the fullness of the blessings and power of God just like Jesus did (John 14:12) because you are a joint heir with Christ, (Rom. 8:17). Just as Jesus perfectly reflected the nature of the Father, right now, you are a perfect reflection of Jesus and God the Father. You have been accepted in the beloved, (Eph. 1:6). Just like Jesus, you are now God’s beloved son with whom He is well pleased and He wants to use you to attract people to Him.

PRAYER:

FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A SON TO YOU JUST AS JESUS IS. THANK YOU THAT I CAN EXPERIENCE YOUR FULLNESS AND REFLECT YOUR NATURE.
