HIGHLIGHTS OF TODAYS’ SERVICE
BORN OF GOD
A Believer is born of God; he came out of the very womb of God – John 1:12-13. 1 John 5:4, 1 John 4”4. Believer is born from above (John3:3-5) Just the same way Jesus came from the Father (John 8:12) so we have come out of the Father through the energy of the Spirit at New birth – 1 Cor 12:13
We are new race or set of people (2 Cor 5:17-18), a new type of people, a greater than Solomon generation (John 8:12) a royal priesthood, peculiar people (1Peter 1:2”8, Deut 14:2)
How many believers, because the Word does not prevail in them, live as common men? Disease and sickness prevail over them because they do not walk in the light of the Word.
John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me, shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of Life”. As long as sickness prevails over you, you are walking in darkness. That means, you mentally assent to the Word, but you do not act upon it. We have been delivered from the power of darkness (Col 1:12-13).. As long as you walk in poverty, and your testimony is of your need and your lack, then the Word has not prevailed in your life. Philippians 4:19 has no place in the life that is not dominated by the Word. When the Word prevails, you will have plenty for yourself and for others
What is Light? Light means Wisdom and Ability to do things. Solomon vast wisdom was given him but we are Sons and Daughters of God and Jesus has been made wisdom unto us – 1 Cor 1:30. Amen

YOUR LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS
Friends, You only have one life to live on earth, there is never a second attempt, this is your life. Your life is not a rehearsal for something else. The game is on, and you are the main character, as in a play. In reality, no one else cares. Wake up and take responsibility, stop blaming anyone. Take charge and make decision to make it in life.
What you need to make it is God abiding presence in your life. Take example from Joseph (read Gen 39-40), he has no money, no relative, no cloth, no godfather etc, yet he became a Prime Minister in the foreign land of Egypt. His only asset was that "and God was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man - Gen 39:2, 21)
This precious abiding presence of God he kept and preserved jealously - how can I do this great wickedness and sin against God (vs9). Renew your mind with the precious promises of God in the finished work of Christ and be ready for the top. Pray, Study(get knowledge) Plan, Think and Strategize. From today be completely responsible for your life and everything that happened to you. You are a King, and a Throne is waiting for your occupation. You shall reign on earth - Rev 5:10. You will make it.

MAKE ROOM FOR YOURSELF
In the last edition of Soaring like the Eagle titled: “Your life is in your hand”, I tried to stir your mind with the plan and purpose of God for your life through the Holy Spirit using the life of Joseph and probably Jephthah who says: “and when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life into my hands – Judges12:3”. Beloved, your life is in your hands. Go back and read that piece again.
In this world, Life will not give you what you deserve nor your employers remunerate you accordingly, neither will the world give you room to fulfil your God-given destiny. You have to contend for it. You remember that the world didn’t make room for Jesus the Christ at birth, and they “laid him in the manger, because there was NO ROOM for them in the inn –Luke 2:27”. That was the Savior, who “by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him –Col 1:16.
So stop the crying, you are not alone in this. Neither fix your eyes on somebody else wealth or lane. Nobody cares anyway. Man is naturally very selfish. God can use anybody but don’t entirely depend or build your hope around man. Make room for yourself. If you don’t get employ, then become an entrepreneur. Learn a trade.
HOW TO MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR SELF
a.Believe God & His Words: Esteem God and His Word above all things. David said “I rejoice at thy word as one that findeth a great spoil – Ps 119:162. A wise man said “the picture of your future is in the scripture” and I agreed with him totally. The Founder of Slot Nigeria says the Bible is useful for making strategic business decision. Remember that the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploit.(Dan 11.32)
b. Power of imagination: Have a clear mental picture of yourself and life, and nothing will be restrained from you which you have imagined to do (Gen 11:32) A man cannot be bigger than his thought. Think Positively
c. Be a Problem Solver: Problem solvers are needed the world over. Joseph, Daniel, David became great men of their days because of the problems they solved. Be an asset and not a liability. Don’t running around for crumps when you are expected to be a bakery owner.
d. Be determined: Determination is the mother of manifestation. Determine under God to make a different in your Family, Career and Ministry. Give expression to your God-given gift and talent. Remember that a man’s gift maketh room for him – Prov 18:16. Surely, God’s help will be available for you.
e. Pray, Prepare and Plan: Don’t allow 2022 to be like other years. Time and season wait for no one. Saturate your life with prayers because prayers changes things. Prepare for the year ahead prayerfully. Have a strategic plan and document them because if it is no written, then it doesn’t exit. God himself is a master planner. If you fail to plan, then you have planned to fail.
f. Be Born Again: Somebody will stop reading at this point. But that is the truth. Anyone that is not born-again is a walking co**se. He has no Christ, no hope in life, he is a stranger from the covenants of promise and without God (Eph 2:12). He is a servant of the devil and under the influence of the power of prince of the air (Eph 2:2). Accept Jesus Now. Today is the accepted time.
In 2022, the LORD GOD will make you a thousand times more or better and bless you as He hath promised you (Deut 1:11 paraphrased)

BALAANISM
Numbers 22:5
Balaam is the typical hireling prophet, seeking only to make a market of his gift. This is "the way of Balaam" 2 Peter 2:15 and characterizes false teachers. The "error" of Balaam" Judges 1:11 was that he could see only the natural morality--a holy God, he reasoned, must curse such a people as Israel. Like all false teachers he was ignorant of the higher morality of vicarious atonement, by which God could be just and yet the justifier of believing sinners Romans 3:26. The "doctrine of Balaam" Revelation 2:14 refers to his teaching Balak to corrupt the people whom he could not curse; Numbers 31:16; Numbers 25:1-3; James 4:4. Showbread - Exodus 25:30
A type of Christ, the Bread of God, nourisher of the Christian's life as a believer-priest 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6.
In John 6:33-58 our Lord has more in mind the manna, that food which "came down"; but all typical meanings of "bread" are there gathered into His words.
The manna is the life-giving Christ; the showbread, the life-sustaining Christ. The showbread typifies Christ as the "corn of wheat" John 12:24 ground in the mill of suffering John 12:27 and brought into the fire of judgment John 12:31-33.
We, as priests, by faith feed upon Him as having undergone that in our stead and for our sakes. It is meditation upon Christ, as in Hebrews 12:2; Hebrews 12:3.

AS WE BEHOLD HIM – PART 1
Fruitful Christian Life is having Personal Relationship with God “who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us – Eph 2:4” through Jesus Christ “that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood – Rev 1:5”
This Personal Relationship can only be strengthened and energized through genuine and constant fellowship with God who is faithful, “by whom ye were called unto fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord – 1 Cor 1:9“ PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS GRADUAL BUT VERY FULFILLING AND REWARDING.
But there cannot be a heartfelt fellowship with God except through Prayer. PRAYER IS THE BEDROCK OF ALL RESOURCEFUL AND RESULT ORIENTED FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. This is the foundation for spiritual stamina and supernatural growth in the Kingdom. “I will therefore that men pray everywhere lifting up holy hands – 1 Tim 2:8”. EDWARD M BOUNDS (1835 – 1913) cried out in his book “POWER THROUGH PRAYER” that Men of Prayer Are Needed” (Lest I forget, I can send you a free e-copy of this book if you are interested with a promise that you will read it). MEN OF PRAYERS ARE MEN OF SPIRITUAL POWER.
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN BELIEVERS PRAY?
1. We share in God’s glory: We behold Him in prayer and as we are beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory – 2 Cor 3:18”. Our Lord’s transfiguration (Matt 17:2) readily comes to mind here. Isn’t it?
2. Open Heaven Experience: Prayer secures perpetual open heaven as divine ideals and wisdom begin to flow and manifest ceaselessly. “Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened – Luke 3:11.
3. Revelation of Divine Secrets and Plan: God reveals his secret and plan to believers on the altar of prayer. “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work wherewith I have called them – Act 13:2
4. We are Filled with the Fullness of God – Eph 3:21
Believers will not amount to anything and will be devoid of impactful Christian life without effectual and fervent prayer (James 5:16). “I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among them which are sanctified – Acts 20:32”.
You will pray through in Jesus Mighty Name – Amen

4 Ps FOR MAXIMINSING THE BLESSINGS OF 2021 (THE REMAINING 6 MONTHS)
Luke 14: 28-30 “for which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it, lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? .
The above words of our Lord Jesus clearly stressed the importance of planning and preparation. Many fail because they don’t have anything that will propel or engineer them (no drive). Six months has gone like a twinkle of an eye. That is why before the last 6 months of the year slip away too, we must maximize the following 4 Ps.
1.PREPARATION: Preparation is the mother of manifestation (Prov 16:1). God prepare for creation. The Sun, the Mon, the vegetation, the creeping creatures, and even the Garden of Eden, were all in place before Man was created. GOD DID NOT CREATE MAN INTO AN EMPTY SPACE. Even the coming of our Lord Jesus was not left out. Remember, Jothan became MIGHTY because he PREPARE his ways before the LORD God – 2 Chro 27:6. You can not afford to run through life without preparation.
2.PRAY: The Bible says Commit (a) your ways to the Lord – Ps 37:5 and (b) your works to the LORD- Prov 16:3. That means divine direction and your daily activities. Let Jesus take the lead, He is a better leader since He is the only one who knows tomorrow. So talk to the Master of the Universe.
3.PLAN: Plan is a detailed formulation of program of action, a method for achieving an end. In Luke 14:28-32, our Lord Jesus clearly emphasis the importance of planning. When you fail to plan, you have already planned to fail. However, let your plan be in consonant with God’s plan for your life. The Scripture says in Jer 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”.
4.PUT IT DOWN IN WRITING: Write down your plan and dream. Write the vision make in plain. Write the vision. And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it Hab 2:2. If it is not written, it does not exist.
You will not miss your blessings and whatever God has in stock for you this year in Jesus Mighty Name. So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified – Acts 20:33

NOT BY STRENGTH
“Therefore by the deeds of the law, no flesh will be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin – Rom 3:20”
Many Christians are struggling with sin today thinking it is by their own power (efforts) that they can overcome besetting sin. As a sister, you have vowed not to sleep with that man again but in a twinkling of an eye, you have fallen again despite your self-efforts. No, it doesn’t work like that because “by strength shall no man prevail – 1 Sam 2:9”. You didn’t do anything before Jesus died for you, it is just by grace, just as it is written “by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God –Eph 2:8”. Therefore, it is that same grace that saved you that will preserve you from sin. That grace comes with power to “go and sin no more (John 8:11)”
At new birth, “God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying Abba Father-Gal 4:6”. So you see. it is the CREATIVE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in the life of a man.. Believers are “sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise –Eph 1:13” that’s why “whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His SEED remains in him; and cannot sin, because he has been born of God-1John 3:9”. By grace, through the creative WORK of the Holy Spirit, believers cannot just commit sin. Remember, “it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure –Phil 2:13”
As a believer, once you begin to feed on the bread of life – Jesus (I am the bread of life –John 6:48) through prayerful reading, studying and meditation through grace that is in Christ Jesus, you will just discover that something you used to do, you cannot not do them any longer. Our Lord’s parable in Mark4:26-27 will now make much meaning in your hearts: “the kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how”. This is effortlessly living a sin-free life devoid of condemnation and self-pity; believing and appropriating the finished work of Christ. Sincerely the new life in Christ is a call to rest in the finished work of Christ.
The Holy Spirit will not leave the new convert alone because He is mindful and committed to all His adopted children through Christ. I pray this Holy Ghost inspired prayer in Hebrew 13:20-21 for you today that “may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen”
Sin shall have no dominion over you again now and always in Jesus Mighty name (Amen)

MEANINGFUL, IMPACTFUL and GOOD LIFE in Christ should and must be our desire as Christians.- John 10:10, 2 Pet 1:3. This SUPERNATURAL LIVING depend on our PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God. But FELLOWSHIP is the bedrock of PERSONAL WALK with God - 1 Cor 1:9, 1 John 1:3, and PRAYER is the foundation of FELLOWSHIP because as we behold Him we are change into His Image from glory to glory - 2 Cor 3:18-18
You can stand before DIVINITY and HUMANITY not give YOU your place on earth. Christianity will be boring and without proofs and testimonies without these THREE.
Very Simple- PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP + FELLOWSHIP + PRAYER =GOOD AND MEANINGFUL CHRISTIAN LIFE: QED
