SERIES: HE EVER LIVETH – PT.7

TOPIC: A RECAP.

TEXT: JN.14:19
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

The most exciting news at our disposal as believers is the fact that Jesus is alive forever; the champion of our salvation is not rotting in the grave-He conquered death and the grave forever.

In dying, He tasted death once and for all; in been buried, He arose from the grave once and for all; and because He lives, we shall live also- forever with Him. Hallelujah! – Rev.1:18; Heb.2:14-15; 1Jn.5:11-12; Jn.14:19.

He ever lives to make intercession for us, and He has commissioned us to be intercessors also; Heb.7:25; Jn.14:12; 17:18. He has put His Spirit in us to help us in our intercessory responsibilities; Rom.8:26-27.

He ever lives to save the unsaved, and He has commissioned you to go into all the world and make disciples for Him; those who believe shall be saved, and those who believe not shall be damned; Mk.16:15-16; Jn.3:16-18. This free gift of salvation is the gateway to accessing all our inheritance in God; Acts 20:32.

Our priceless heritage in God is encapsulated in His Word. Every Word we receive, believe and engage activates and releases the Blessings and Promises of God in our lives; Jn.1:12; Lk.1:45. The Word we receive and believe must be declared boldly to command the miraculous in our lives and affairs; Mk.11:23; Acts 14:3.

Now we are partakers of God’s Divine nature by access to His power and His promises-we are not sharing His Glory, we are partakers of His Glory; 2Pet.1:3-4; Is.42:8.

Ananias and Sapphira tried to take His Glory and paid with their lives; but in Him we live, and move and have our being; whatever He has we partake of same because we are hidden in Christ in God forever; Hallelujah! – Acts 5:1-11; 17:28; Col.3:3.

All of these realities are made possible not because we are so righteous and perfect but because in His mercy, He has bestowed upon us His amazing Grace – His Power, and Riches, and Wisdom, and Strength, and Honour, and Glory, and Blessing revealed and released at once to us even when we don’t deserve it; Rom.5:8; Eph.2:8-9; Rev.5:12.

Everything you will ever need in this lifetime is accessible by His Grace. There is no depth you’ve fallen to that Grace can’t pull you out from; there is no height you’ll attain in Him that you won’t need His Grace to sustain you.

His Grace and Mercy is renewed day after day. You can’t out-demand His Grace. Where sin doth abound, Grace much more abounds. Grace rises to meet every occasion and situation in our lives only if we will humbly receive that amazing Grace in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Submit to His Grace and end that disgrace in and around your life forever.

DAILY OVERCOMERS’ DEVOTIONAL.

SERIES: HE EVER LIVETH – PT.5.

TOPIC: HE MAKES US PARTAKERS OF HIS GLORY.

TEXT: Jn.17:5, 22
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.

Jesus is seated in majesty with the Father forever. The good news is that by redemption, we are seated together with Him in Heavenly places, far above principalities and thrones, and dominions; not only in this world but in the world to come; Eph.2:6; 1:20-21.

Scriptures declare that God dwelleth in Light (Glory) that cannot be approached.

Moses was with Him for only forty days and forty nights, and by the time he returned to the people, they couldn’t behold His face because of the Glory that he resplended; Ex.34:29-30.
Jesus was on top of the mountain to pray and He transfigured with so much Glory that Peter, James and John had to bow their faces- they couldn’t behold His face directly; Lk.9:28-35.

Now Jesus constantly, permanently sits with the Father, in all the magnificence of His Glory, and in His last prayer recorded in John 17, we see Him asking the Father to give everyone that believes in Him through the preaching of the Word the same Glory that He shares with the Father; Hallelujah; Jn.17:1, 4-5, 20-22.

Christ in you is the Hope of Glory. No one ever follows Him wholeheartedly and ends up in shame. Whatever the enemy designs for evil, for shame and reproach is overturned for His Glory in our individual and collective lives; Col.1:27.

How to Unlock and Access this Glory.
Promote the unity of the Faith. The work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers is to create in them a dire need to be one with Christ Jesus in all our dealings and conversations; Jn.17:22.

Strife is a Glory killer both in the Church and among brethren. There is never anything beautiful wherever there’s war; and the servant of God must not strive; 2Tim.2:24-26.

God’s plan is to bring every believer into the unity of the Faith, unto the measure of the stature of Christ; Eph.4:11-13. He gave ministry offices- Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers and Pastors for the work of the Ministry and for the edifying of the saints.

You are seated with Him in unapproachable Light (Glory); in the name of Jesus, no one will see shame or reproach around your life and destiny.

You are ordained to reveal and reflect God’s eternal Glory, and in the name of Jesus, you will not disappoint.

DAILY OVERCOMERS’ DEVOTIONAL.

SERIES: HE EVER LIVETH – PT.4

TOPIC: HE UPHOLDS HIS WORD FOREVER.

TEXT: MT.24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Jesus is the Living Word of God, and He is alive forever more, Amen; Jn.1:1-5, 9, 12, 14; Rev.19:13.

Nothing holds more value before God than His Word- He has magnified His Word above all His names; Ps.138:2.

God’s integrity and faithfulness backs every one of His Word, and not even a jot of it can go unfulfilled.

This is where we draw our strength and confidence from- knowing fully well that every Word of God we receive and believe will eventually find expression in our lives.

We are empowered to become every Word we receive and believe- God performs His Word that we truly believe in our lives and endeavors; Jn.1:12; Lk.1:45.

Jesus is alive forever more to continually ensure that the Word never fails to deliver.

For example:
Before His ascension He promised to send the Holy Spirit, and asked them to tarry in Jerusalem until they are endued with Power from on high, and alas, He did; Lk.24:49.

He has never failed on His promises once. Whatever He says to you personally from the pages of scriptures, through visions and revelations, by the mouth of His Servants- the Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors and Evangelists; you can be sure, He will fulfill His Word in your life; Is.55:10-11.

But it takes Faith and Vision clarity to provoke the fulfillment of the Word of God in our individual and collective lives; Lk.1:45; Jer.1:11-12.

What are your responsibilities to see the Word fulfilled?
Keep your Faith alive by feeding on the Word of God; Rom.10:17.

Keep your Prayer altar awake through constant engagement in Prayer and Fasting; Jud.20; Lk.22:31-32; Is.62:5-7.

Continue to declare His Word until your situation and challenges align with His Word for your life; Mk.11:23; Num.14:28.

Rejoice exceedingly and continually at the Word; Jn.5:24-25; 11:25, 39-40; Jer.15:16; Ps.119:162.

God has never gone to sleep over His Word; He watches over His Word to perform it; He will perform His good Word in your life today in Jesus Name.

DAILY OVERCOMERS’ DEVOTIONAL.

SERIES: HE EVER LIVETH – PT.3.

TOPIC: HE HOLDS THE KEY OF LIFE AND DEATH.

TEXT: REV.1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

He holds the key of life and death. He is not holding the key against you; He is holding the key in your favour- In Him we have life; He has deprived the enemy the authority to take the life of anyone under His protection; 1Jn.5:11-12; Heb.2:14-15.

Death has no authority over you anymore; death is swallowed up in victory; 1Cor.15:53-54.

In His death He conquered death, in His resurrection He established everlasting life for all who will come to God through Him; Jn.3:16; 6:54-57.

Whether it has to do with the death in our walk with God, death of our Businesses and Career, death in our finances, untimely death by accidents, sickness or disease; Jesus has purchased our redemption; so He ever liveth to give us Life, and this He does more abundantly; Is.54:16-17 (Msg); Jn.10:10.

What is your Assurance?
God assures that He will deliver you from the mighty and terrible; Is.49:24.

He will save your children; Is.49:25.

He will cause them that oppress you to feed on their own flesh, and be drunken with their own blood as with sweet wine; Is.49:26.

God is angry with the wicked daily; that is, everyone who has made you the target for his or her attacks, is toiling with the anger of God, and surely they shall be burnt; Ps.7:11-13.

He has caused the wicked that dig pits for you to fall into the same pit they dug for you and your family; Eccl.10:8.

What does Life in Christ Communicate?
Eternity with God; Jn.3:16.

Total Healing, Health and Wholeness; Rom.8:11.

Immunity to all forms of satanic attacks; Is.54:16-17.

Supernatural Restoration of all that the enemy has hitherto stolen from you; Joel 2:25-26.

Supernatural Empowerment to rule and reign over the enemy; Lk.10:19; Ps.110:1-2.

Whatever represents death in and around your life shall come under judgement from this moment in the matches name of Jesus.

DAILY OVERCOMERS’ DEVOTIONAL.

SERIES: HE EVER LIVETH – PT.2.

TOPIC: TO SAVE TO THE UTTERMOST THOSE WHO COME TO GOD.

TEXT: Heb.7:25
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Before Jesus was born, the angel spoke to Joseph announcing His primary purpose as to save mankind from their sins; Mt.1:21.

During His earthly ministry, Jesus declared that His singular purpose was to seek and to save them that are lost; Lk.19:10.

In Acts 3:26, we are also told that God sent Jesus unto us first, to Bless us, in turning us away from our iniquities.

It is amazing therefore to note that even after His ascension to Heaven, He is still fulfilling that singular purpose- to save to the uttermost them that come to God by Him.

Recall that Jesus made it clear that He is the way, the truth, and the life; that no one comes to Father except by Him; He is not one of the ways- He is not an option, He is the only true way- the exclusive path to reach the Father; Jn.14:6.

For there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we shall be saved; Acts 4:12. God has given Him a name that secures and guarantees not just our protection, but our salvation from all incursions of sin and the devil; Phil.2:9-10; Prov.18:10.

We have a duty therefore, to spread the good news of His continual interest in saving all of mankind from the power of sin and death. We’ve been commissioned to go into all the world and preach the gospel, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching the to observe and to do all things He hath commanded us; and the guarantee is that He is always with us to confirm His Word with signs following; Mt.28:18-20; Mk.16:15-18, 20.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE COMMIT TO HIS COMMISSIONING?
We are empowered to cast out devils, to heal the sick, and to raise the dead; Mt.10:1, 7-8.

We are guaranteed of His ever-abiding presence that secures supernatural victory in every battle of life; Mt.28:20; Rom.8:31.

We are empowered to trample upon wicked forces of the enemy, with assurance that nothing can by any means hurt us; Lk.10:19.

We are assured that the gates of hell shall be irresistible against our movement; Mt.16:18.

We are guaranteed access to the keys of the Kingdom such that whatever we bind on earth is bound in Heaven, and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in Heaven- what a Grace and a Privilege; Mt.16:19; 18:18.

We are assured also of answered prayers, no matter what our demands or desires are; Jn.15:16.

We also assured of our names been written in the lamb’s book of life; Lk.10:20.

May the hand of God rest upon you and yours from this day forward in Jesus Matchless Name.
