In my greatest desire to be more dutiful to the gospel of the Kingdom of God and of His Christ, I decided to diligently take some time to study some of the instructional words of Christ to His disciples in other to properly align my life and calling to His will.
In my pursuit for this knowledge, discovered that a man can become so successful in ministry and not be recognized by the God who he might assumed to be serving.
In the book of John 14:13 it says;
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
Note the word "whatsoever" meaning you can ask for healing, miracle, signs and wonders in Jesus Name and He will cause it to manifest but all this does make you to be known to the LORD if you disobey His command.
As I ponder on Matthew 7:21-23, I began to examine my life to be sure that I am still in alignment with my LORD obeying His command.
Let is take a very close look at what will likely be the final judgement of some of the self acclaim men and women of God who are doing great exploit for God's Kingdom.
Matthew 7:21-23 says;
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
What?
The word not every one got me thinking!
Some who call Him LORD who are obedient to His command will enter into the Kingdom of God, but not the disobedience ones.
The Message Translation (MSG) makes it even clearer in Matthew 7:21-23;
"Knowing the correct password—saying 'Master, Master,' for instance— isn't going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, 'Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.' And do you know what I am going to say? 'You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don't impress me one bit. You're out of here."
The message translation said "Knowing the correct password—saying 'Master, Master,' for instance— isn't going to get you anywhere with me.
Meaning on the final day of judgement every known access to the Master of the universe will not help if you do not obey His His commandments in your earth work.
What commandment?
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." - John 13:34.
The following verse says;
Thousands will strutting up to Jesus Christ saying Master, we preach the message, we cast out devils, our crusade and conferences had every one in town talking meaning our ministry programs is the talk of town, but Jesus will say to them I don't know you.
This great men and women of God protested and say Lord why will You claim ignorance of us after all the great and mighty meeting we hosted powered by the move of the Holy Spirit, we cast out devils, heal the sick, perform great signs and wonders all in Your Name?
The answer that the Lord gave them kept me mute for a while why I reflect on my life and calling. The LORD said unto them;
"All you did was use Me to make yourselves important. You don't impress me one bit. You're out of here"
Wow!
How many ministers of the gospel are currently using the Name of the Lord to make themselves important?
Suddenly you became a celebrity pastor or music minister that needed to be treated with special honor.
He said to them "You missed the boat" meaning I do not know you.
It is my prayer that your service in the Kingdom of God will not be counted as waste.
The grace to be obedient in carrying out the command and the instructions our Lord rest upon you.
May your ear hear the gracious words of Christ which is; "well done thou good and faithful servant" at the end of your pilgrim journey on earth.
Remember, Obedient to divine instructions is what make you a bonafide member of God's family.
John 15:12
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
You are blessed!
