TOPIC: You will see a glorious end
Text:Job 19:25-26
Introduction. It is not necessarily the beginning of an event that matters but the end. Many a time the beginning may be tough, rough, discouraging and small, but the end shall be great (Job 8:7). Don’t despite the day of small beginning (Zechariah 4:10). There are steps you must take to see a glorious end in the face of challenges.
A. Possess a deeper knowledge about the God of glory (Job 19:25). This knowledge is called in Greek ‘’epignosis’’. It is different from the first level of knowledge called ‘’gnosis’’. The second level of knowledge comes from personal experience with the Lord or his word (1John 1:1-4). This knowledge gives you boldness, confidence and assurnce of your God (Daniel 11:32).
B. Confess positively the God of glory (Job 19:25). Salvation comes through positive confession (Romans 10:10). God will not only do what we confess (Numbers 14:28). Your confession determines the reaction and action of heaven on your behalf (Matthew 18:18-19; Job 22:28). There is deliverance or bo***ge in your tongue (Matthew 12:37)
C. Believe the God of glory despite all the challenges facing you (Job 19:26). You must trust God to the end (Job 13:15-16). Don’t allow doubt to deny you the glorious end.
D. Be ready to forgive those who despised you in the time of your challenges (Job 42:7-17). Forgiveness is a key that opens the door of love for divine visitation. It was when Job prayed for his friends who made themselves enemies that God turned his captivity.
