The Pacific Son
(CHT:1_EP:1)
Ugwuagba is a very big town in the middle of Eastern Part of the country, Nigeria. The people lived well organized social life where the elders were respected and their words carried weight in all situations. Being mostly farmers, during the less busy harvest time, the people enjoyed various activities like wrestling, cultural dances and the likes.
Infact, the people of Ugwuagba embraced cultural heritage with great passion. The famous and dominant Atiliogwu and Akunechenyi cultural dances were wonders to behold.
Though, the people of Ugwuagba lived in peace and share brotherly love together, but they were lacking in some aspects. Because most of the people were ordinary peasant farmers, majority of them could not send their children to school. Indeed, there were a lot of illiterate ones who couldn't understand the English, let alone writing it.
In as much as they knew what education could bring to their entire Kingdom, yet most of them couldn't attend school owing to poverty. Some were lucky to attend because their parents works tirelessly towards achieving that for them.
Uzodike was a picture to behold in this aspect. He was a tall handsome man in his early 40's. He was a very strong and hardworking man. Uzodike was a workaholic who ensured that all he was supposed to do was fine. And if you tell him to reduce the rate at which he worked, he would simply tell u that if he stopped exercising his muscles by doing his chosen works, he will get old easily.
Uzodike was a vibrant and peaceful man who takes his farming work so seriously as to take good and proper care of his adorable wife and children. Ifesinachi was a real beauty to behold. They both loved and respect each other. God blessed their marriage with three adorable kids (Ezechi, Ebuka And Adaugo).
