*VICTORY OVER THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD*
_“I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me.” John 14:30 (NIV)_

The devil is the prince of this world. He daily instigates chaos, pandemics, wars, conspiracies and evil deeds. He causes the kings of this world to imagine vain things. But I want you to know that he doesn’t have absolute power. Only God does! Psalm 24:1 says, _“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”_

At the cross, Jesus disarmed the prince of this world. He disgraced and triumphed over him (Colossians 2:15). So, whenever you look towards Jesus and point to His perfect sacrifice on the cross, the prince of this world will have no hold over you. Jesus says in John 12:31-33, _“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.”_

Jesus’ death on the cross redeemed us from the curse of law (Galatians 3:13). By His death, we become the righteousness of God in Christ. And so we can also confess that _“the prince of this world comes, but he has no hold over me.”_ Satan can only have a hold over you if he can find sin (foothold) in your life (Ephesians 4:27).

The prince of this world, like a lion, is daily roaring and looking to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But the greater Lion (the Lion of the tribe of Judah) lives in you. 1 John 4:4 says, _“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in this world.”_ So, don’t be afraid of what the prince of this world is doing. Step out, knowing that you have the victory!

_*CONFESSION*_
_Today, I declare that I am bold because the greater Lion lives and roars inside me. The blood of Jesus has redeemed me from sin. Satan, you have no hold over me. I command you today to lose your hold over everything that belongs to me. I affirm my victory over the prince of this world._

*GOD WILL HELP YOU*
_“I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2_

When you rest in God, you will not be anxious. Philippians 4:6 says, _“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”_ God is always ready to come in and help you. All you need to do is to lift up your eyes to Him.

Lifting up your eyes means having faith in what God says and being expectant of His move. You don’t lift up your eyes to your relative, the government or anything else. The One who can help you made heaven and earth. When you come boldly to Him, you _“obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)_

Psalm 121:3-8 says, _“He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you… shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in.”_

God does not slumber or sleep on His promises like man. He is always faithful even when you are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13). He is the pillar of cloud in your day and the pillar of fire in your night (Exodus 13:21). He promises to keep you from evil as you go out and come in daily.

Today, I want you to understand that God, not man, can help you. Psalm 46:1 says, _“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”_ God has given you the Holy Spirit who is your ready Helper (John 14:26). Whenever you call Him, He will show up right in time!

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, I lift my eyes to You, today, because You are my Source of help. As I come boldly before You, release Your mercy and grace to help me. Send me help from Your sanctuary. Holy Spirit, my Helper, take over my life and do for me what only You can do in Jesus’ name. Amen._

TOPIC: *THE PLACE OF EVIL*

Scripture Reading — Romans 7:21-25

_So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me_ . — Romans 7:21

God’s Word not only notes the reality of evil, but it also goes so far as to say that evil is always present. This means that belonging to Jesus does not by itself keep us away from evil. “I find this law at work: . . . evil is right there with me,” says Paul.
Based on my experiences. I feel like making EVIL prayers against those hurting me. Sincerely speaking Holy spirit doesn't permit that because EVIL prayers come from evil place.
The worst thing anyone can do to me (Temidire) is to tamper with my feelings. The worse hurt happened to me recently, "well" let us leave this for now.

I don’t like that, but knowing this law helps me keep perspective. Rather than being surprised by the presence of evil and temptations in my life, and wondering what their presence might say about me, I can instead focus on standing against it, with Christ’s help. I can admit that evil is here, with me. It was present for Paul, and it was present for Jesus. The question is: What am I going to do about it? How am I going to cope with its presence?

Sometimes what hurts us in the battle against evil is that we don’t openly admit there is a battle. Then we may end up either not fighting, or simply fighting on our own.

So a place to start is to recognize the presence of evil and its temptations and to ask for God’s help in battling it. In addition, ask for the counsel and prayers of a trusted Christ-follower when you’re engaged in a specific battle with evil.
Many that called themselves Christians today don't have the knowledge of what i am talking about.
You are hurting someone emotionally and you don't have feelings for that, then check your heart what place it is at that moment. point is not to deny it, but to claim our place in Christ, and to keep fighting.
If Christ is truly occupying your heart then you will feeling for others.

SPECIAL PRAYER

Lord, I don’t want to be ignorant of the evil that is right here with me. I belong to you. Help me fight what is evil and do what is good. In your strength in Jesus name, Amen.

*FIND REST IN GOD*
_“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 (NLT)_

In the Old Testament, God instructed the priests to wear a dress that will not make them sweat or perspire in His presence (Ezekiel 44:18). Because God does not want His children to struggle, stress or perspire. He wants them to simply rest in Him. Jesus told His disciples: _“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)_

When you find rest in God, you will prosper even in a famine year; like Isaac (Genesis 26:12). Proverbs 10:22 says, _“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.”_ When you find rest in God, you will not have to painfully toil to be blessed. When God rested after creation, He blessed and sanctified it. When you find rest in God, He sanctifies and blesses the work of your hand.

How can you find rest in God? Jesus says, _“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”_ (Matthew 11:29) You find rest in God when you make His business your business. Again, God says in Jeremiah 6:16, _“Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.”_ You find rest in God when you see and walk in His ways.

What are the benefits when you find rest in God? You will have all you need, enjoy the peace of God in the midst of chaos, have your strength renewed, be guided along the right paths and your life will bring honor to the name of the Lord (Psalm 23:1-3 NLT). This month, cease from struggling and simply find rest in God.

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, thank You for the opportunities to work. Today, I choose discipline and hard work over laziness. I choose to rest in You and totally rely on You to bring me success that only You can give. Lord, I cease from struggling and I fully trust in You. Be honored in me in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*BOW TODAY AND LIVE FOREVER*
_“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” Philippians 2:10_

This month, understand that absolutely nothing takes God by surprise. He knows the end from its beginning. Colossians 1:17 says _“He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.”_ And whenever we call on the name Jesus, we are saved (Romans 10:13).

By His death and resurrection, Jesus triumphed over death, hell and the grave. And God gave Him a name above every other name. At His name, every knee bows; kings and princes surrender their crowns and worship. So today, either you willingly bow (surrender to Jesus) or be compelled to bow on that day (before God’s Judgment Seat).

Isaiah 45:22-23 says, _“Let all the world look to Me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. I have sworn by My own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on My word: ‘Every knee will bend to Me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to Me.’”_

Beloved, if you have not bowed or surrendered yet, God says in Romans 14:9-11, _“To this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.’”_

There is coming a day when the whole world shall appear before the judgment seat of God. Those who bow to Jesus today will live and reign with Him forever. Those who refuse to bow will spend eternity in the lake of fire. So, you either surrender to Jesus today and live or refuse and die forever!

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, I acknowledge that all power and authority belong to You. I choose to bow my knees to You now in total surrender. Be Lord and King over my life. I choose to serve You while I live so that I can live with You in eternity. May every evil sent my way also bow in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*DWELL IN THE LORD*
_“I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5_

Since creation, God made man to act and speak like Him and to live in Him. So, God created man in His image and after His likeness and placed him in “Eden” which means “His presence” in Hebrew. Originally, man has no capacity to survive outside of God’s presence: _“without Me you can do nothing.”_ Man is only fruitful when he dwells in the Lord.

God wants you to dwell in Him – not just once in a while, but always. He wants to be your only source of life, strength, hope and joy. God wants to be your only option in life! And it only by dwelling in Him that you can fully enjoy all of His benefits.

Psalm 91:1-2 says, _“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”_ When you dwell in the Lord, you find SAFETY, SECURITY and COVERING. God becomes a refuge and a fortress to you.

How do you dwell in the Lord?
1. Meditate on Him, His Word and His goodness. Consciously think about Him and His goodness throughout the day.

2. Continually fellowship with Him in prayer, praise and worship.

3. Stay connected with other believers. In Hebrews 10:25, we are told to avoid _“forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.”_

When you dwell in the Lord, you will bear much fruit. Just as a tree branch can only survive and thrive when it is connected to the main vine, you can only survive and thrive when you are connected to God. If you can dwell in the Lord and depend absolutely on Him, there is nothing that shall be impossible for you.

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, thank You for being a faithful Source that I can always depend on. I choose to dwell in You. Like the air I breathe, I totally depend on You because You are my only option in life. As I dwell in You, may I flourish and be fruitful in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*DON’T LET THE LIGHT GO OUT*
_“But Abishai the son of Zeruiah came to his aid, and struck the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, ‘You shall go out no more with us to battle, lest you quench the lamp of Israel.’” 2 Samuel 21:17_

Beloved, today, I encourage you to intercede for people who are light bearers in your life. For instance, your pastor, parents, someone in your family who has blazed a trail or the president of your country. Are these people more important? Not necessarily, but they carry a lamp that cannot go out.

David and his soldiers went to war against the Philistines in 2 Samuel 21:15-17. A Philistine giant targeted David to kill him. But, just before he could strike David, Abishai intervened and killed him. Then David’s men said to him, _“We can’t let you risk your life in battle anymore! You give light to our nation, and we want that flame to keep burning.” (CEV)_

David, as the king, was the light of the nation. And Jesus says when you strike the shepherd, you scatter the sheep (Matthew 26:31). Abishai left everything else to intervene and preserve the light from going out. He interceded on behalf of an entire nation. Beloved, you need to also pray for that person in your life who carries light that must not go out!

Jesus told Peter, _“Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22:31-32)_ Jesus interceded for Peter because he was the one to strengthen his brethren; the same reason why Satan also sought to sift him.

Satan knows that he can get to you if he kills or destroys the light bearer in your life: the one who has been praying for the family, the one who finances the family, the one who keeps the family together or the vision bearer. This is why you must pray and not allow that light to go out!

_*PRAYER*_
_My Father, I thank You for anyone You have put in my life as light bearer. I thank You for my dream and vision helpers, for my pastors, parents and president. Today, I lift up prayer on their behalf. Lord, cover, protect and keep them. Preserve their lives today in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*DON’T BE INTIMIDATED*
_“Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved.” Philippians 1:28 (NLT)_

Jesus told His disciples: _“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)_ Fear and intimidation are the weapons of the devil. But, when you reverentially fear God, you will not be afraid of the devil or man.

Beloved, what is frightening you? Who is intimidating you? Deuteronomy 31:6 (NLT) says, _“Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”_ You cannot be intimidated because God has promised to personally go ahead of you.

While God saves you, the people who seeks to intimidate you will be destroyed. Jeremiah 1:8 says, _“Be not afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you.”_ And Micah 4:4 says, _“Everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid.”_ You will enjoy every blessing God has prepared for you and not be intimidated.

In Judges 7:9-14, Gideon waged war against the Midianites. God told Gideon, _“If you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp… you shall hear what they say.”_ Later, Gideon heard one enemy soldier narrate a dream and another interpret it as: _“This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.”_

The people you fear are more intimidated by you. So, be strong and courageous. Nothing or no one should intimidate you. Don’t focus on the scary faces of those who seek to intimidate you. Look to Jesus and you will not be intimidated.

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, thank You for Your presence with me. Thank You for Your promise to personally go ahead of me each day. Father, my eyes are fixed on You and so I am not afraid of what the enemy can do. I receive strength, courage, boldness and power. Be exalted in me in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*DON’T BE AFRAID!*
_“Don’t be afraid. I am with you. Don’t tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with My arm and give you victories.” Isaiah 41:10 (CEV)_

Today, God says don’t be afraid because He with you. And don’t tremble because He is your God. He promises to make you strong, protect you and give you victories. The Amplified version says, _“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties.”_

Do you face life threatening situations? Don’t be afraid. Have heard frightening news? Don’t look around in terror. Sicknesses, hardships, broken relationships, physical attacks and other evils may come, but don’t be afraid. Because Your Father is with you. He _“has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)_

No matter the challenges, God says He has given you a sound mind and so don’t let your heart be troubled (John 14:1). Like David, you can confess: _“I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I won’t be afraid. You are with me, and your shepherd’s rod makes me feel safe.” (Psalm 23:4 CEV)_

Psalm 91:5-6 says, _“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”_ The terror, arrow, pestilence and destruction may come suddenly, but don’t be afraid. Because your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).

David says in Psalm 56:3, _“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.”_ When fear knocks on your heart, turn to God in faith. Be uncompromisingly assured that God’s got you. Don’t be afraid because the Lord is with you and He has victories prepared ahead for you!

_*CONFESSION*_
_The Lord is my God and I know that He is with me. And because He is with me, I will walk through every evil situation that surrounds me. I am not afraid of what the devil will throw at me. I have a sound mind and I am safe in the arms of the Lord. I am walking into victories this year!_

*DO NOT BE IGNORANT*
_“Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11_

When you are ignorant of the devil’s devices, he will take advantage of you. In Matthew 12:36, Jesus warned us against the use of idle words. Careless words are the operative tools of the devil. They create loopholes for him to pounce on you (Ephesians 4:27). The devil is like a roaring lion who is daily seeking to devour you (1 Peter 5:8).

When you speak idly, the devil uses it against you because he is the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10). Every day, he throws out idle words like a trap. Proverbs 6:2 says, _“You are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.”_

For instance, the phrase “By June” which implied everyone dying from the coronavirus by June, may appear harmless, but it is a trap from the devil. A child of God cannot ignorantly fall into this trap by confessing it. The devil daily seeks to set a trap for you by your confession, so don’t be ignorant.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, _“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”_ The battle against the devil is not carnal. Words are not just words; they are tools that God uses and Satan uses also.

So, don’t just use words because they are trending. Your tongue speaks life and death (Proverbs 18:21). The devil doesn’t always come through a storm. He comes subtly through the idle and negative words you speak ignorantly. So quit saying: “It is impossible” or “This disease will kill me” or “I am dead.” It may sound innocent, but Satan can use it against you!

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, I submit my words to You. Touch my tongue with the fire of the Holy Spirit. May my words edify and not destroy. I restrict any idle word from coming out of my mouth. Today, I confess that I shall not die, but live. I confess that everything is possible to me in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*THE HOLY SPIRIT AND EVANGELISM*
_“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8_

The Holy Spirit helps us to witness. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus says, _“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”_ When the power of the Holy Spirit comes, you go and make disciples.

The Holy Spirit gives us power to witness. He makes evangelism easy, but fruitful. If you want to win a soul, remember that it’s _“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.” (Zechariah 4:6)_ So, Paul says, _“My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” (1 Corinthians 2:4)_

On the Pentecost Day (Acts 2:1-41), after the Holy Spirit came down, Peter evangelized and over 3000 souls were saved. Acts 4:31 says _“When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”_ The Holy Spirit gives us boldness for soul winning.

Again, the Holy Spirit convicts. Jesus says, _“It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.” (John 16:7-8)_ The Holy Spirit makes a sinner realize his or her need of a Saviour.

The Holy Spirit is the Helper who can teach you how to approach sinners and what to say to them, like Philip in Acts 8:29-30. Understand that you can only be an effective soul winner when you have the Holy Spirit.

_*PRAYER*_
_Heavenly Father, I receive power to become Your witness and make disciples. Holy Spirit, I can't do this without You. Take over my tongue, touch my lips with fire and use me to turn many lives around. Today, I receive boldness to minister Your grace in Jesus’ name. Amen._

*THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PRAYER*
_“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” Jude 1:20_

It must not be possible for you to survive without praying. When you don’t pray, you become prey to the devil. Jesus taught His disciples in Luke 18:1, _“Men always ought to pray and not lose heart.”_ Paul also says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 that we must _“pray without ceasing.”_ How can you pray always?

Jesus says in Matthew 6:7, _“When you pray, don't use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”_ You can only pray without ceasing and still avoid vain repetition by the Holy Spirit. Bible says He intercedes for us with groaning that cannot be uttered, according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27).

Ephesians 6:18 says, _“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”_ The Holy Spirit helps us to pray with all kinds of prayer and supplication. He helps us to pray for long without repeating words, at all places and with urgency.

Does that mean you should no longer pray with understanding? 1 Corinthians 14:14 says, _“If I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is not fruitful. What is the conclusion then? I'll pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with understanding.”_ You can pray both with the Spirit and with understanding. But like Paul, more with the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:18).

How do you pray with the Holy Spirit? By praying with other tongues. So, if you have not yet been baptized by the Holy Spirit, you must desire it and ask for it, today. When you pray with the Holy Spirit, your human mind is unfruitful, your faith is built up and your prayer is in line with God’s will.

_*PRAYER*_
_Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit. Today, I submit to the authority of the Holy Spirit in my life. Holy Spirit, have Your way and pray through me. Baptize me afresh and declare Your mysteries through me. I put aside my carnal nature and yield to You today in Jesus’ name. Amen._
