VICTORY AT THE 2026 EVENTS CAMP 🏆

For seven whole days, our boys hustled, tussled, competed, and gave their very best in every competition, determined to bring glory and victory to the Garrison Battalion Council.

Through dedication, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and an unwavering fighting spirit, our boys proved once again that Garrison does not just participate we compete to win

And indeed, as the curtains came down on the 2026 Events Camp, victory was ours

A Wonderful Evening at the 2026 State Events Camp

It was a wonderful and memorable evening at the 2026 State Events Camp as the Garrison Battalion Council warmly received its esteemed Chairman and Honorary Patrons.

The visit was made even more exciting as the Chairman, Honorary Patrons, officers, and boys fully participated in the camp’s Jersey Day. The camp came alive with colours, unity, excitement, and a great display of team spirit as everyone proudly represented their various teams and jerseys.

It was truly a colourful and joyful gathering, filled with laughter, fun, and memorable moments. The boys and our esteemed Patrons shared beautiful moments together, further strengthening the bond of fellowship and camaraderie within the Council.

Indeed, it was an evening to remember as the Garrison Battalion Council celebrated friendship, fellowship, and the spirit of the 2026 State Events Camp. We sincerely appreciate our Chairman and Honorary Patrons for honouring us with their presence and making the evening even more special.

As we pack our bags and prepare to journey down to Metro for the 2026 Events Camp, the Garrison Battalion Council extends its heartfelt wishes to everyone for a safe journey, a fruitful camp, and a resounding victory.
May we set out with bold faith, unwavering determination, and great expectations, and may we return with testimonies, triumphs, and undeniable reasons to give thanks.

Faith, Discipline and Service: 74th Port Harcourt Company Welcomes New Generation of Young Leaders

The 74th Port Harcourt Company of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, attached to Jerusalem Anglican Church, Mile 2, Diobu, has enrolled a new generation of disciplined, God-fearing, and service-minded young leaders at a colourful and spirit-filled Enrollment Service.

The ceremony brought together Boys, officers, church leaders, parents, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the formal admission of the young members into the Brigade. The newly enrolled members pledged their commitment to Christian values, discipline, leadership, and selfless service.

A major highlight of the occasion was the official declaration of Rev. Canon Shadrach Okonkwo as Chaplain of the 74th Port Harcourt Company. His appointment marks an important step in strengthening the spiritual guidance and development of the Company.

The event was attended by several distinguished officers of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, including the State President, Barr. Golden Otonye Tamuno; State Secretary/Organizer, Dr. Chukwudi Ebim, ANTO; State Assistant Secretary/Organizer, Mr. Richard Inimgba, ANTO; Secretary, Garrison Battalion Council, Mr. Promise Ejimadu, ANTO; Secretary, Obio/Akpor Battalion Council, Temple Wagwu; Vice Chairman, Honorary Patrons Forum, Sir Surv. Uno N.; and Vice Chairman, Patrons Forum, Garrison Battalion Council, Mr. Victor Ezeh.

Also present were other officers, members, parents, and well-wishers who added colour and significance to the memorable occasion.

The enrollment underscores the continued commitment of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria to nurturing young people with strong Christian values, discipline, responsibility, leadership skills, and a passion for service.

As the newly enrolled members begin their journey in the Brigade, the 74th Port Harcourt Company celebrates a significant milestone and looks forward to raising a generation equipped to lead, serve, and make a positive impact in society.
