Dear Daughter be encouraged as Mercy is speaking for you this week. God’s mercy is not silent, it is working on your behalf, even when you can't see it. Mercy has gone ahead of you, rewriting stories, opening doors, and silencing accusations.

Don’t stop declaring it and continue to say it boldly that the mercy of God is working for me. Your confession activates heaven’s intervention. Mercy is God's heart extended to you, and it never fails.

Keep speaking it. Mercy is making a way.

"I Take Care of My Father... So, I’m Ready for Marriage" But Are You Really?

A lot of people confuse responsibility with readiness for marriage but let me tell you something that might sting a little, being responsible doesn't automatically mean you are ready for marriage.

I once heard a pastor ask a young lady:
"How do you know you're ready for marriage?"
Her answer was simple:
"Because I take care of my father."
She and her siblings took turns caring for their aging dad — noble, yes.
But does managing responsibilities mean you're ready to build a lifelong covenant with another human being?

Here’s the uncomfortable truth most people don’t like to admit:
✅ Responsibility teaches discipline.
✅ Responsibility shows you can handle duties.
✅ Responsibility proves you can sacrifice.

BUT... marriage demands more.

Marriage exposes every corner of who you are:
👉🏽Your emotional triggers.
👉🏽Your ability to forgive.
👉🏽Your capacity for sacrificial love.
👉🏽Your willingness to communicate even when it’s uncomfortable.
👉🏽Your resilience when storms hit unexpectedly.

You don’t just need the ability to “care for someone.” You need the mental, emotional, and spiritual depth to handle the weight of the covenant.

So how do you truly prepare for marriage or any serious commitment in life?

1️⃣ Self-awareness:
Look inward and confront your blind spots.
Where are you emotionally immature?
Where do you carry unhealed wounds?

2️⃣ Get wisdom:
Read books. Attend counseling. Surround yourself with mentors who speak truth.

3️⃣ Spiritual preparation:
Ask God to search your heart, expose your weaknesses, and give you grace to grow.

Marriage is not sustained by feelings, it’s sustained by wisdom and grace.

This month of May comes with a sweet reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness. The earth blooms, the days grow warmer, and creation itself seems to rejoice — a reflection of the joy we find in Him.

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

May is more than just a change in the season — it's an invitation to walk in gladness, rooted not in circumstance, but in the unchanging love of our Savior. Till the end of the month, choose to rejoice in God’s promises, delight in His presence, and give thanks for every blessing — big or small.

Let every sunrise remind you of His mercy, every breeze of His Spirit, and every flower of His grace.

Cultivate a heart full of praise till the end of the month, and let your joy be a testimony of what God has given you.

Dear Daughter in Christ,

In a world that often feels uncertain, where pain, confusion, and loss can cloud our vision, there is a truth that stands like a lighthouse in the storm: Jesus Christ not only rose from the dead—He ascended into heaven. And because He ascended, you have an unshakable hope.

The ascension of Jesus isn’t just a moment in history—it’s a divine declaration. It tells us that death does not have the final word, that Christ’s mission on earth was victorious, and that He now reigns in glory, seated at the right hand of the Father. And what does that mean for you?

It means you are never alone. Jesus didn’t abandon us when He ascended—He went ahead to prepare a place for us. He sent the Holy Spirit to live within us, guide us, and empower us. Right now, Christ is in heaven, interceding for you, speaking your name before the Father, understanding every struggle, and covering you with His grace.

It means your story doesn’t end in sorrow or defeat. Just as Christ rose and ascended, you too are destined for glory. Your future is secure, anchored in a Savior who has gone before you and opened the way. His ascension guarantees that one day, you will be where He is, free from pain, full of joy, in the presence of God forever.

So lift your eyes. Lift your heart. Your Savior reigns. He is alive, He is active, and He is coming back. Let the ascension remind you: you are part of something eternal. You are loved, seen, and held by the King of Kings.

Be encouraged—because Christ is not only risen; He is ascended and coming again.
